After a lot of debate with himself, Asher finally thought of messaging Ramona.

🖤- Ms.Ramona you have been absent for the class two days straight. When are going to submit your leave application?

Asher POV

"Dumb brain is it all you could think? It's too formal." I thought to myself.

"Wait what if she thinks we are asking for application only? " my heart said to me. "Aren't you?" Asked my brain

"She is a brilliant student that's why. Yeah." I said

Ramona POV

I saw his message and my heart went boom boom. He messaged me first for the first time.

He asked me for leave application.
"Ye kya bakwas hai. Mera bhai itna paisa isliye deta hai kya jo mai applicatione likhti phiru" I muttered to myself.
(What nonsense. Does my brother invest so much only for me to write applications? )

"She took it as an application request. Shit." I said it out loud

"But you are totally formal with eachoth-" my brain replied which I cutted of in between by sending other message.

Realising what I sent I was about to unsend it but she saw it and then she went offline.

"Does she not like it? What if she stops talking to me? Maybe she only sees me as a teacher and nothing else?"I thought to myself.

The mere thought of her being formal with me was enough for me to realise. That I want her to be more than just a student. Maybe a friend?

Just then she sent a message.

Ramona POV

"Aaaahhhhhhh PARU PARU PARU TERE JIJA JI KO MAIRI FIKAR HO RAHI HAI" I ran towards her room shouting.
(Paru you brother in law is worried about me.)

"Behen tu mairi neend ko kyu itna satati hai?" Paru said being annoyed by the fact that she couldn't get her sleep.

"Arey yaar sorry! See what my hottie professor has sent me." I said while showing her the message Asher sent me.

"Ooooooooooooooo dhere dhere se mohabat hui hai!" Paru said teasingly. No matter the time space or even a war is going on , you can never stop teasing your friend.
