Finally it was Diwali. Everyone was busy with the preparations of Diwali. Some were decorating the home. While some were busy with making Rangoli. Some were busy with preparation of Pooja for today. And why not? It was the day Lord Ram ji would come back home. This festival was the biggest day for Hindus. Well, every other festival is too. But each of them is too special on their own. And also the regional variations just making them more vibrant. The beauty of devotion of God.
Ramona was making Rangoli as always with Dev on her side, but today for the first time. Someone else was there with her. It was Asher, the love of her life.
Ramona POV
"I am so happy Ram ji. On this festival of yours and Sita mataji. I am getting the chance to feel the love of my beloved. Thank you so much." I thought to myself thanking God. I have always been in charge of making Rangoli at home. And always Dev Bhai helped me, you know sibling things. We want to do everything by ourselves. But today my lover is here with me.
Maybe it's something very cliche but I feel like it's the god blessing my love. I feel so different. It feels as if he is the one. The one for life.
"My love which colour you want?" He said breaking my chain of thoughts.
"Red" I said giggling. Well after all red and White are the ultimate combination in Rangolis. At least in Rajasthan.
"Yep. My love" he said giving me the colour.
"You couple, I want to help my biwi in making Rangoli too. You are making me feel single while I am one step ahead of you both." Dev Bhai said making a face clearly showing how much he was missing Paru.
"Uff Bhai. She will come in the evening na. So impatient" I said giggling and Asher chuckled.
"But making Rangoli together is different" he mumbled but I heard it.
"Love sick guyz. My Dev Bhai is finally love sick." I said dramatically while laughing.
"Oh please. I am love sick for my biwi. It's worth everything." He said and his phone started ringing.
"Ooohhhhoooo. Bhabhi(sister in law)" I said teasingly while he went picking up the call blushing.
"Joru ka gulam" I said to myself looking at my love sick brother.
