"O, speak again, bright angel! For thou art as glorious to this
Night, being o'er my head, as is a winged messenger of heaven."
-Romeo and Juliet, act 2, scene 2
AZULONS POV
It had been a couple of days, Azulon still hadnt adjusted to any of the chaos that has been happening around him. But he was glad to be around his Isla. He got to see her smile and laugh a bit, her voice was like music to his ears. It filled him whole inside, and made him feel good.
He knew what lust was, he saw it in many people. Yet he never really felt it, most of the woman digusted him. Except for one, but she chose to be with someone else. And thats when they were just young kids. He had matured a bit early. After that he mostly like hanging out in the woods, and spend most days with his friend, the scientist. His friend was always showing him plenty of cool things. He would point many stars and tell him cool things about them, about planets and such.
After years had passed Azulon grew up to be a strong tall man, he learned to hunt better than most men, and learned to mend things together. The memory of the day his life changed will forever live in his mind and will always be fresh. That day he had, had a call from his best friend. He heard about many things that were going on, but he mostly just ignored it. He never cared for any of the high and wealthy. Being on this new planet, it has been just a little confusing, he could tell there were also creatures here that are wealthy here. He hasnt met any of them. They dont wear an abundant amount of jewelry as the wealthy did in his home planet. You knew who was wealthy by the amount of jewelry they wore.
Azulon sat by the door to the room which his Isla had taken refuge in. He had poked his head in a couple of times, just to make sure she was fine. Azulon noticed that she can sleep a lot, it worried him a bit.
"Its human nature to sleep a good 9 hours." Dave had mentioned earlier. To Azulon it seemed more than 9 hours. He had one of the other 2 other humans check on her. Each time reassuring him as best they could that she was fine.
After a while, he felt began to feel sleepy himself. The other humans had left. It was just him in the large space. He then began to sleep, his dream filled with what had happened, his friend dying his planet exploding, the new planet but most importantly, Isla. His dream constantly showed her. The way her long black hair flowed in the wind. The way her eyes shined even in a dark room. Her soft lips, how they had a life of their on, how no matter what they were always shining, even when she frowned. Yet they also called out to him.
He wanted her so bad, yet he never understood in what sense. He tried to think of what the elders ever spoke about, he just never wanted to listen to them, he never cared. He should have listened. He hated himself for leaving that day, for not listening. They warned him if he didnt listen he would have questions that he wont be able to get the answer to. What a fool he was, he thought to himself.
His body shook awake to find those beutiful eyes of hers staring right at him, was it a dream? Was he actually still dreaming? Dreaming of the woman that has stolen his heart? Without thinking he reached out, grabbing her and pulling her to him, she felt so warm to him. He wanted to keep holding her tight.
He hears someone laughing and his Isla saying something he couldnt understand. He pulls her tighter into him, loving the way her body felt against him. How soft it was, and how her hair smelled so good. He couldnt distinguish the fragrance, it was soft, and calming.
