I needed a job because I wanted love.
Started asking around, even asking the big man above.
Was offered a job as a punching bag, but I said "no."
Given a chance to be a therapist, but I was let go.I kept looking around for "lover wanted" signs, but there were none around town.
But as I continued searching, there were still none to be found.
So I waved my white flag, said "screw this!"
If I want to find love, I'll start a business.Made some flyers, some posters, and a commercial as well.
This is a great investment, I can tell.
I wanted to advertise my love and loyalty.
My first customer arrived, and I greeted her joyfully."My name is Aeryn, I won't sell you lies.
Only truth, love, and happiness until I see a pig fly."
Her name was Maxx, she was absolutely stunning.
My heart beat inside my chest wouldn't stop running.Other customers came, but none even came near...
To the love I felt for Maxx, she's all I hold dear.
She is my best customer, coming up on a month...
Since I first saw her, standing out front. She always tips me extra, in my "Cha-Ching!" jar.
Only coins, but more than I got from playing guitar.
A quarter for communication, a dime for dates.
A nickel for novice, a penny to seal our fate.I closed down my love shack, I don't need it anymore.
This love that I provide will be forevermore.
