CHAPTER 2-Welcome Home!

Edward's POV

How could they! Bringing a human child into our home! Do they realize the danger it will put her in?

I stormed out of the house and ran to my meadow. I needed to blow off some serious steam.

After leveling most of the trees within the 5 mile radius of my meadow, I went hunting for mountain lion.

After a few hours I decided to go back home to see this "human girl" everyone is obsessing over.

As the house came into view I paused

'Could I go face this small child that everyone but me seemed to love?'

Yes.

I walked into the house and saw everyone huddled in a circle not paying any attention that I just walked in.

'She is adorable!' Rose and Alice thought at the same time.

'I finally have a baby' Esme thought.

'She is healthy and well' Carlisle though-he was always looking at the doctor aspect of things.

'MY LITTLE SIS IS SO CUTE!' Emmett's thoughts seemed to scream at me.

Jasper was just bouncing around laughing and smiling caught up in everyone's emotions.

I tried to listen for the baby's mind.

Nothing.

How odd. I tried to read her harder. I was really starting to get frustrated.

Still nothing.

'Maybe if I get closer and look into her eyes' I thought. I might be able to see what's going on.

I took a few steps forward and the baby started crying.

"What did I do?" I said barely above a whisper.

"She is probably just hungry Eddie. Chill out man." Emmett said.

I hated it when Emmett called me that. But I just brushed it off for now. I was to busy focused on the little baby.

"What's her name?" I asked.

"Isabella Marie Swan" Esme told me, leaving the room to fix her a bottle.  

"But can we call her Bella?" Alice asked.

"That's a good nickname!" Esme said.

'That is the cutest name I ever heard'

Wait... I'm supposed to hate everyone including Bella.

Ehh. Just a little peek won't hurt.

As I worked my way through my family huddled around Bella I thought of something.

'Why is there a pull to her? I wonder if anyone else feels that'

I looked at everyone and asked "Do you guys feel a pull to her or is it just me?"

Everyone looked at me like I was a lunatic.

I looked over Emmett's large head and saw a tiny baby wrapped up in a purple baby blanket, her eyes fixed on Carlisle.  

As soon as she heard me approach, she turned her small head to look at me.

I immediately got lost in her big beautiful brown eyes.

Then Alice got pulled into a vision.

VISION

A girl that looked to be about 17, was in all white, she had beautiful brown hair pulled up in a bun looked up from her feet and blushed.

She had Carlisle on her left and was walking down the isle.

I couldn't see who the groom was or who the girl was but I kept watching.

"Do you Edward Cullen take Isabella Swan to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do"

"And do you Isabella swan take Edward Cullen to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do"

END OF VISION

Gasp. I am going to marry this little perfect beautiful girl?

"What?" Carlisle asked.

Alice beat me to it.

"Edward and Bella are mates! And they are going to get married when she is 17!"

"Edward! You finally found a mate!" Carlisle exclaimed.

"Can I hold her?" I asked softly not wanting to startle my Bella.

My Bella.

I like the sound of that.

I finally had found my home.

With my Bella.
