CHAPTER 6-Gone

Edward's POV

What the hell?

Where did she go? She couldn't have gone anywhere by herself because she can't even walk!

Then it hit me.

Tanya.

She left without a goodbye and her mind was blocked!

She is sooo going to pay for this.

I raced down the stairs to my family.

"Tanya took Bella" I said in a monotone voice.

Esme let a quiet sob escape her mouth.

"I'm gonna kill that sick, twisted-" I cut Emmett off by bringing back the focus to our predicament.

"Let's find my Bella first before we do anything else!"

I raced back to my bedroom where Bella slept and followed Tanya and Bella's scent out the window.

I leaped out the window with my family close behind as Bella and Tanya's trail got stronger as we were running telling me they had just barely been here.

I raced through the forest and passed the USA, Canada border.

I kept running pushing my legs faster fearing the worst.

I was relieved when I came to a very small house, 15 minutes away from Vancouver, finding their scent had stopped.

I could her Bella's racing heart and strangled cries as Tanya was talking to her.

"Now listen here you little brat! Edward is mine and you will never have him!" I heard Bella start to cry even harder.

She started whimpering and that's when I realized Tanya had hurt my Bella.

Before I could go save her I heard a sickening snap and rushed to get Bella.

Bella lay on the hard basement floor screaming for the pain to stop. I grabbed Bella very carefully as to not injure her any more. I let a dry sob escape my chest and then regained composure.

I handed Bella to Carlisle so he could look over my angel to see what injuries she received from this monster.

I slowly turned to face Tanya. Her eyes were a ruby red, telling me she was hunting humans. She was being held by Emmett and Jasper.

"Tanya! Why did you do this to Bella?! She is a child for crying out loud!"

"She won't have you! She is a little brat! I have known you your whole existence and you haven't even know her for a year! It's not fair!" She sobbed trying to appear sad.

"Enough crap Tanya!" I screamed.

'Can we kill her now?!' Emmett asked.

I nodded my head as I took Tanya's head in my hands.

I ripped of her head the same time Emmett and Jasper pulled her arms off.

There was a small fire place in the cabin like house so we threw her in there.

I raced back to Bella. Expecting terrible news.

That's just what I got.

"She has a fractured left arm, 4 broken ribs, a bruises liver, and a concussion. I have to take her to the hospital and do surgery on her arm and liver. She needs metal plates in her arm because of the shards of bone." Carlisle said dry sobbing.

I looked at Bella and saw how miserable she looked. I wasn't there to protect her! What kind of brother am I?!

'Stop beating yourself up Edward. Your emotions are all over the place. She is going to be fine' Jasper thought.

We ran back to Forks and drove to the hospital.

Carlisle taped up her broken ribs and prepared her for surgery. She got an iv in her arm and got a small hospital gown on with Esme's help, being careful with her arm.

She then got knocked out and taken into surgery.

I really hope she will forgive me!
