CHAPTER 9-Edward's Birthday!

Edward’s POV

It’s my birthday…whoop dee do.

I hate birthdays, especially since I’m immortal and I don’t ever die.

The only thing that is making this day great, is my precious Bella.

I started to play on my very old, piano I got on my 50th vampire birthday. I really wanted a grand piano, I might have to get one tomorrow.

I heard Bella start to stir so I ran through the house until was sitting in Bella’s room in the rocking chair thinking about her. She is the most precious gift I have ever received.  She is my light, my angel and my savior.

I heard a small giggle come from Bella’s bed.

I saw her head pop up, looking around the room, until her eyes spotted me.

Her eyes lit up and the biggest smile crept onto her face.

“My Eddie!” Bella shouted.

“Hi my Bella! Did you sleep ok my angel?” I asked her.

“Yep, but I hungry Eddie.”

“Ok, sweetheart, lets go make some pancakes!”

Still holding her, we walked downstairs and walked into the kitchen. Esme was already making pancakes so we sat at the bar. 

“Happy Birthday Edward” Esme said.

“IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY EDDIE?!” Bella yelled.

“Yes angel. I thought Alice told you that yesterday”

“Oh yeah” Bella said quietly, then hid in my shoulder from embarrassment. “Happy Birthday Eddie”

“Thank you princess” I said as Esme slid a stack of blueberry pancakes.

She ate them quickly, then Alice came to take her and change her out of her PJ’s.

I went to my room and put on fresh clothes and ran back down to Bella.

She was sitting on the sofa in a pink and sparkly sundress. I went over to her and scooped her off the sofa and she whispered in my ear,

“Hey Eddie, do you wanna go to the park and then get icecream?”

“Yeah! Let’s go sweetheart!,” she said.
