CHAPTER 5-Bella's 1st Birthday Part 2

Edwards POV

'Edward! I love him so much I want too...' 

I cut out of Tanya's mind before she thought the unthinkable.

"Edward! I've missed you so much!" Tanya said throwing herself at me. I heard Emmett's silent laughter shake the foundation of the house.

"Ed, who's are those pweople?" Bella asked in her sweet voice.

"Those are our cousins from Denali" I said back as I raced across the room to scoop her up.

I focused on her heart beating to calm me from Tanya's unwanted advances.

I sat down with Bella and of course Tanya came and sat next to me-as close as she could get without being on my lap.

'Will she ever let up?' I thought.

I heard Carmen and Eleazar talking with Esme and Carlisle in the kitchen.

Kate and Irina sat uncomfortably on the sofa.

"So..." Tanya said trying to start a conversation with me.

I just ignored her and focused on Bella.

She then had the nerve to put her hand on my thigh.

But before I could do anything Bella beat me to telling Tanya off.

"DON'T TOUCH MY EDWARD!" She then slapped her hand.

Tanya just sat there shocked along with the rest of us. All for different reasons though.

Bella called me hers!!!!

Tanya then growled and ran out to the forest. She had been blocking her mind so I knew she was mad about something.

"Present time!" Esme called out.

Esme and Carlisle went next. They got her a charm bracelet with different chars symbolize different people.

Emmet was a teddy bear 

Rosalie and angel 

Alice a shoe 

Jasper a book 

Carlisle a cross (because of his father)  

Esme a flower  

Me a piano

Alice went next. Bella got a whole new wardrobe, lotion, smelly soap, and lots of shoes.

Jasper got her books so they could read together. That was one of there favorite things to do together.

Emmett got Bella a battery operated car so she could drive it like in Mario Kart. Shed have to be older for that.

Rosalie got her a bracelet with Bella and her name inscribed in it.

My turn. I hope she likes it!

I gave her a small, wrapped box with a bow on top.

She started to tear the paper and when it was of she looked at the small, velvet box.

She looked up at me with an expression like 'are you serious? A box?'

"Let me help sweetheart" I opened the box to reveal a diamond heart shaped necklace.

"I wove it Ed!! Tank you!" She rejoiced happily.

The Denali's gave Bella a gift card to toys r us so she could get some new toys.

We had cake, well Bella had cake and then she got really tired and drooped in her high chair.

I carried her upstairs, changed her diaper and put some pajamas on her. I laid her in my bed and re joined my family downstairs.

A few hours later, I heard Bella scream.

I ran to my room and opened the door only to find it empty.

My Bella is gone.
