A circus.
A clown.
Making faces.
Smiles painted over open spaces.
A hysterical contrast for others.
The clown's job is to make people laugh.
At their actions.
Their emotions.
Their failures and embarrassments.
Just the sight of them brings smiles,
Laughter,
Joy,
Entertainment.
I wanted to smile with you.
To laugh with you.
I never asked to be your clown.
I never agreed to be a laughing stalk.
My misfortunes aren't meant for your entertainment.
You never asked me how I felt.
You never wanted my side.
This clown isn't silent for fun.
I just don't want to make anyone else the clown.
Everyone has a side.
A story.
