The flying trapezist,
A symbol of the ingenuity of the circus.
Invented long ago by a man with a vision.
Trapeze is an art cherished by circus goers.
As the trapeze artist swings across the star covered tent,
Defying gravity like a beautiful phoenix.
The crowd is filled with awe.
Struck with a sense of astonishment and tension,
Will they fly or will they fall?
The only way to know is to watch,
Nobody can take their eyes off the sight before them.
The artist soars from bar to bar,
Cutting through the tension filling the atmosphere,
Like a blade bleeding into butter.
Swift
Smooth
Unstoppable
If they stop for even a moment,
Hesitate for even a second,
They could lose momentum.
Fall short of the next step,
Fail to be reborn.
Fail to fly like a phoenix.
Fail to fly at all.
Fall into the despair of being a disappointment.
Only shame to their name.
Only pain to catch their fall.
That's why they can't stop.
Don't stop.
Won't stop for even a moment.
