The AAI Bansal Group of Companies was full of hustle and bustle today after all, the project they were working on was finally accepted without any obstacles, because the obstacles were carefully picked up by none other than our Srida. Also, today is the day Srida and Abhishek were officially tendering their resignations, due to which the BOD meeting was held for an official answer for both of them.
As the two employees working at the higher level of management of the company were resigning, it was a big deal as losing assets of the company. Srida was in her cabin, packing her stuff back with a heavy heart in the box that she brought when she first entered the company. The day she got promoted as the MD of this company was a big deal for her; she never expected herself to do this job. But it was her dream to be an employee of this company, and how could she not complete it?
The day she announced to work in this company was the day her family was somewhat upset, but that didn't make them change her decision. And after much persuasion, they all agreed. The day she entered the office, she had Abhishek by her side as always, but they were unknown in the office. Many challenges made their way to her, but that never made her stop.
Although she didn't work for a long period of time in this company, she had a connection with every person, every place in this company, and today she was ending her journey here. To give a new start to her company, she looked at her cabin, where she always came running after every meeting, her desk where she had worked on many projects for this office, her bookshelf, useful for keeping her files and books, and the window which gave her ample sunlight and ideas.
She was tracing her table, remembering her every experience in this cabin. Her thoughts were disturbed by a knock, bringing her to a halt. She closed the lid of the box after inviting the person standing outside. Mr. Saxena was standing, holding the threshold of the door with a small smile.
"Well, Saxena, now you don't need my permission for entering," she said with a playful smile, making Mr. Saxena shake his head. "I will always need that, ma'am," he said.
"Any work... well, now no office work," she said, chuckling. "Yeah, now I'm finally free from your glares," he said.
"Haww, I didn't glare without your mistake," she said, offended, making him surrender. Even as she is leaving, her terror is still with them.
"Everybody wants to meet you before the meeting, knowing that after you will be going directly home, they all want to meet you," he said with a sigh. Of course, how can a person forget after working with them they have grown habitual to them? Even we all miss our enemy, so why not the person who taught you many things in life?
She nodded, agreeing to meet all; of course, maybe it will be her last time to see her team, who was working with her hard for every project. She took her box, which Saxena held instantly. "Let me, ma'am," he said, making her sigh.
