Dazai was not a patient man, no, not at all. That's why he was even surprised with himself when he finds himself just watching the seconds go by in his phone. Watching the clock tick away, waiting for it to strike at exactly 12. He was an hour early, and yet here he was, sitting just right outside a rather large double door in a very wide yet quiet hallway.

'As expected of chibi...' Dazai absentmindedly thought, glancing at some of the obviously expensive paintings just decorating the hallway that leads to the Nakahara Penthouse. 'Always so fancy~' but Dazai wasn't surprised by that, after all his chibi really has an expensive taste in things, always needs to be top quality, expensive, and of course beautiful. 'Just like him...'

It did not even take Dazai a full 30 minutes to find where Chuuya and Yue lives in Japan. Of course, Chuuya chose a place in the upper scale of Yokohama, a place for the rich, where parks are regularly maintained, malls and the hospital are almost walking distance. A place for luxury. He expected this, but Dazai could almost laugh at how easy it was for him to just walk inside the building, take the private elevator that leads to the penthouse of Chuuya and Yue. Of course, the private elevator required a pin-code, the higher security type of pin-code that if entered just wrong once, it would send an alarm in the whole building unless deactivated by the fingerprint next to the type panel. Dazai didn't even had to use his brain, he just typed out Yue's birthday in the panel, then just a few second, the elevator started making its way up, stopping at no floor because the elevator was solely built for the top penthouse.

Dazai scoffed to himself the moment he entered Yue's birthday in the panel, it's like Chuuya's way of giving him an in, almost. After all despite the popular belief between the two of them, Chuuya isn't all just brawns, he is smart in a way that Dazai isn't. Of course Chuuya knew that Dazai would find them, making Yue's birthday the passcode to their home was Chuuya's test if Dazai can bother with a simple information like that. Of course he cares, that's his child. Their child. If Chuuya really wanted to end things between the two of them, Dazai is sure that Chuuya would have set his birthday as the passcode instead, because for the life of him, he can't be bothered to remember such trivial thing even if it's his own birthday.

Dazai stood up, stretching his back, yawning a little as he did. He pocketed his cellphone a minute after 12. He turned his back to face the door, he took a deep breath, knocking instead of using the doorbell just beside the door, confident that his knock, albeit soft, would be heard inside the quiet penthouse.

And just like Dazai predicted, not a minute later, the door opened. Dazai had to bite the inside of his mouth just so he could maintain the blank look he has on his face. Chuuya's own unimpressed face greeting him, the door fully open between them.

Silence stretched between them, as if their eyes are the one communicating. Finally as Dazai predicted once again, Chuuya was the one who broke the silence with an annoyed but resigned sighed. "You are a coward." Chuuya stated, a glaring taking place, gone the unimpressed look that he has.

Dazai shrugged, but Chuuya knows by now that Dazai really is affected by it, he could see right through Dazai's bullshit by now, despite it being years. "Ah... you can't really be mean to me right now hat rack." Dazai said not being bothered by Chuuya's glare directed at him "You know why I am here right?"

Chuuya's glare softened at the unspoken request, a request that was phrased as a question. Of course leave it to Dazai to talk cryptic even though it's just the two of them. Chuuya just rolled his eyes, leaving the door open as he walked back inside the penthouse, confident that the alpha would close the door behind them and follow him. Chuuya, without looking back, went towards the kitchen as he could hear Dazai make his way towards the living room. It was at this point that Chuuya is thankful that he opted for a penthouse with a very open floor plan, the living room very visible from where he was standing in the kitchen. He refused to look directly at Dazai as the other man has this look on his face as the alpha carefully sat down on the couch, eyes lingering at the scattered but organized pile of books that Yue was reading just earlier. Chuuya watched in his peripheral vision as Dazai carefully picked one book up, studying it before placing it back down, at it's very same position.
