Chapter 13

"Oh? So, this is the infamous armed detective agency, I would say it looks good considering... what I heard."

Atsushi, Kunikida and Yosano turned their heads towards the door, only to come face to face with the one and only Kouyou Ozaki, a known Port Mafia Executive. In the past they all would have tensed up and probably ready their weapons, but seeing as their own President told them beforehand that Kouyou would be visiting the ADA, they all just froze, waiting for her to finishing her scanning of their office.

Kouyou could only grace them with a small smile on her face as she finishing looking around the office, behind her are some of her assistants waiting to be ordered around. Her eyes wondered to the couch where she thought she would find the small child, a glint of disappointment was seen in her eyes "Where is Yue-kun...?" she asked

Kunikida coughed as he gathered his thoughts, they were already informed beforehand but it still surprises them, after all this was a known port mafia executive, but alas a truce was in place. "Ah forgive us Kouyou-san we were informed beforehand of your arrival but as you can see we are still adjusting to the new... normal." Kunikida said as he got up from his table, before walking towards Kouyou then offering a hand to shake, in which she took, "And as for Yue-kun, as you can see basta- I mean Dazai is currently with him doing... god knows what, to be honest we stopped trying to understand those two."

That got a laugh out of Kouyou obviously amused by that thought "That boy Dazai really got lucky that Yue-kun is such a mature understanding kid. But maybe that is a good thing, after all with how... Yue-kun's ability work, this is much favorable for all of us, don't you all agree with me?"

All of them could only nod, after all even though its been months since meeting the kid, nobody can ever forget their very first meeting. It still sends shivers down to their spine, also the videos they watched didn't help at all. Although sometimes they find it hard to believe that such ability resides in such a small body, not to mention that Yue is an enigma to begin with, even though he is a polite and sweet child there are times where they question the child's working mind. One minute Yue would be saying something totally out of league and so advance that if they close their eyes they would assume it was an adult with an experience talking, then in another it would be replaced by a child with a very large sweet tooth who would easily go on a talking spree about different dessert. The only explanation they could come up with is that maybe Yue has different personality, because honestly that's the only plausible one.

Yosano stood up from where she was sitting, curiosity evident in her features, she now stood beside Kunikida "So... what exactly is happening here? Who are these people?" Yosano questioned as she looked at the group of 3 people behind Kouyou

Kouyou looked at her "I was informed of the plan, it seems like the Germans are planning to throw a rather prestigious party for reasons unknown to us. So I took it upon myself to take the initiative to provide... suits and such so the members from the ADA wouldn't stick out like a sour thumb in the party."

Kunikida's eyebrow raised at that "Is... is that necessary...? I mean..."

Kouyou just shakes her head as if disappointed "Of course! Especially you, excuse me but you will be bringing Chuuya as your... date right? I, in my good heart, can not let you go with Chuuya as your... date and you wearing something... below your paygrade. So yes Kunikida-san, this is necessary for... us. We have an imagine to maintain you see."

Atsushi could hear something between the paused every time Kouyou would mention the word 'date' and it seems like the other did to, especially Yosano who now has a grin on her face

"Oh my~ we certainly appreciate the concern and of course you are right. After all since Kunikida-kun will take Chuuya-kun on the party as his... date you are most certainly right about that Kouyou-san."
