"Yue?" Dazai softly called out carefully petting some of his son's brown hair peeking out of the covers "Yue it's time to wake up my little moon, it's almost lunchtime. I ordered some of your favorites today."

As Dazai expected the moment those words left his mouth, slowly but surely the covers started to move. Dazai waited until Yue managed to shrugged the covers down, his son's bandaged eye now in view "Papa?" Yue sleepily called out "...what time...?"

Dazai chuckled as he gently scooped Yue out of the bed, his son's arms immediately wrapping around his neck "Almost 11 now sleepyhead. I don't want you skipping meals but you seemed to enjoy sleeping in your new bed that's why I didn't disturb you my little moon~"

Yue pouted as he could feel his Papa walking "I'm still sad that I can't see the new house..." Yue said as he heard his 'bedroom' door closed "Papa are we gonna live here? The three of us?"

A month before Chuuya and Yue returned to Japan, a month before the proposed truce between the Port Mafia and the Armed detective Agency, Dazai bought a house. A very beautiful villa house, far from the city noise, but not isolated, the perfect location that Dazai knows Chuuya would have wanted. The kind of house that his mate dreamed of, a house where nature is at their doorstep, a beautifully made greenhouse because Dazai knows that Chuuya would have wanted a garden where he could relax. Because after the attack on the penthouse, there was no way Dazai is letting his family stay at another high-rise building like that, with that reason even though their new 'house' has three floors, every floor now has a wooden 'barrier' on the balcony, not just a glass one. Everything that Dazai disliked in Chuuya's penthouse, he changed for the better in their new 'house'. Even the security in their new house was insane, every corner of the house, including the backyard and the greenhouse, are all equipped with CCTV, the locking system on their front gate and door are all electronic and can only be accessed with a special key card if someone tries picking the system, well Dazai is not responsible for their safety.

After the attack on the penthouse, Dazai also hired people to transfer what can be transferred into their new house, that included all of their things, Chuuya's insane wine collection (that thankfully survived and is now beautifully displayed in the underground cellar that their new house has), the motorcycle, everything except the furniture that was riddled with bullets. Technically, Chuuya's penthouse is now 'fixed' after all Dazai got rid of all the furniture that was damaged so really there was no need for Dazai to even think about getting a new house for them. But as they say, seize the opportunity. And besides, Chuuya's penthouse is like 40 minutes away from the Agency and the Port mafia base, with the location of their new house it was only 30 minutes, maybe Dazai could use that as an excuse.

So really, Dazai should have expected that question, after all it's been 2 whole days already since the three of them have been 'living' in the house that Dazai bought. Since the day they rescued Chuuya from the Germans, his mate has been resting unknowingly on technically Dazai's house. If only his child could see, Dazai knows Yue would be delighted by their new house, after all Yue's room is carefully crafted to his son's taste. So now, Dazai is only waiting for Chuuya's verdict and ultimately whatever his mate answer would be, would also determine where they would go from here.

Dazai is hopeful to get a yes.

Dazai carefully placed down his son in the dinning room chair, food already on the table "If that's what Chuuya would want, of course." Dazai said as he started to fill up Yue's plate

Yue seemed dissatisfied with his answer, as evident of the frown on his son's face "But... I want the three of us to live now. I really did miss you Papa when you were gone for a week you know..." Yue softly said "I know Mama told me that you would be back but... I don't think I could go back to just the two of us..."
