----(Flashback)----

"Mummy where are we going?" A young girl asked her mother. The tall woman held the young girl's hand tightly. The two got into an extravagant carriage then rode off. The young girl stared out the window interested in the colourful sights of the forest that she lived beside.

"We're going to meet a prince, aren't you excited?" The older woman replied. The young girl's eyes widened and nodded, she couldn't wait to meet a the prince, he was apparently her age and currently looking for suitor. That was most likely the reason that her mother decided it was the best time to leave and see him.

The carriage suddenly came to a halt and the young girl was thrown forward, her mother immediately caught her, then hid her underneath the carriage seat. Her mother stood up, in her hand she held an unsheathed sword. Her mother hadn't brought her Pokémon with her, she had only brought her most trusted weapon, a sword made out of the steel that a Pokémon itself had created.

The young girl couldn't see much, but she could hear her mother running outside and attacking. She clutched her legs and rocked to and fro. She was crying, she was so scared. She heard the fighting stop and crawled out of her hiding spot. She saw a group of bandits dead on the floor, her mother sat near them, lying beside a tree. She had blood running down her dress, and bruises marked her face. The carriage driver was lying dead on the floor, the two Pokémon leading the carriage had disappeared.

The young girl ran to her mother and hugged her closely, getting her body covered in blood. She didn't care, as tears dripped onto the older woman's dress, another woman walked past. This other woman, she wore a long dark robe, her hair was brown and protected by a hood. She turned to face the mother and daughter sighing.

"Oh dear, how the dear Eris falls, one of the most powerful women in this country, and her daughter." The woman commented, a smile on her face. The older woman smiled.

"You still owe me that one favour." She admitted, coughing up more blood. The strange woman's eyes seemed widen then they quickly returned to their normal size.

"I know I do, so want me to save you? Or should I save your daughter?" The strange woman questioned. The mother looked to her red haired daughter.

"There's more of these thieves, and my daughter is the last of her kind, I wouldn't be able to protect her, so please protect her for me." The woman begged, tears beginning to fall down her face. The other woman smiled, placing her hand on the young girls shoulder.

"Of course, from this day forward she'll be known as Azamuku, the apprentice to me, Jinsei. I will raise her like how she would've been raised if she was in my tribe." The strange woman told the other one. The mother stroked her young daughter's cheek. "Wylie, please don't forget who you really are." Her mother begged. The young girl began to cry.

"I-I don't want to leave you mummy." She cried. Her mother smiled then handed her sword. "Take this and use it to help others." The young girl took the sword in her hand. "B-but-" The girl was stopped by her mother shushing her. "-but nothing, don't you think other people need you? They need you to change their life for the better, now go." Her mother ordered.

The weird woman grabbed onto the young girl's hand, she struggled to drag the girl from her mother, but managed to anyway. The young girl cried, then looked up to the sky, which was blurry from the tears.

"I will change people's lives for the better, with this sword."

-----------(Flashback over)------------

Azamuku woke up, she had dried up tears on her cheek and had this feeling of dread inside her. She looked around the dark room to find that Ki was snuggled up beside her, she rolled her eyes, then looked around. She sighed a breath of relief, it was just a horrible nightmare. Except that wasn't a nightmare, it had actually happened. She looked down at the sword by her bag.
