Chapter 2. Time To Pack Up and Leave

Herupa stared into the wall, never had she felt so caged up, never had she felt so trapped. Maybe it was because she is trapped. Herupa growled then thought about her Pokémon. Were they angry at her? Probably. They probably hated her by now. It's okay, she's used to being hated anyway.

She slumped her head onto the wall. She was bored out of her mind and bored of sleeping. She stared at her hand why would they brand her with the number four? Is she the fourth one they captured. If she is then.. That means another observer must be alive. No, that isn't right she saw all of her friends in those tubes. All but Mamoru.

She sighed then knew she had to escape, but how? She stared into the darkness and nodded.

'I will befriend the 'King' and then I will get enough freedom to escape.' Herupa thought to herself, she suddenly felt a need to befriend the 'King', but she had to take it slowly.

It might become too suspicious if she wanted to become friends straight away. So she should try to get along, but not be too friendly. Yeah, that's what'll work! Truly she hasn't made a friend before, well not one that isn't a Pokémon that is. The observers were her family so she has a lot to learn.

The metal door clicked and a woman walked through, her hair was pink and she wore a nurses outfit, she carried with her a tray. She had a smile on her face and looked friendly. Herupa was more interested in the fact she had left the door wide open.

Herupa got up and bolted to the door, only to have it slammed in her face. She flinched and got thrown back.

"Please, did you really believe I was that naive." The woman scolded, then looked at Herupa. She sighed and shook her head. "You are really idiotic aren't you?"

"HEY WATCH WHO YOU'RE CALLIN' IDIOTIC!" Herupa warned, then stood up. The woman was taller than her and Herupa then backed down. The woman shook her head.

"My name is Anthea, you talked to my younger sister Concordia yesterday, she seemed to like you apparently you were amusing to her." Herupa tugged on the sleeve of her gown and smiled. "Well if you say so."

"Anyway I'm here for a check up." Anthea explained pulling a syringe from the medical box.

"Wait, as in a medical examination! W-With needles and stuff?" Herupa asked, Anthea didn't miss the quiver in her voice.

"Yes, Lord N requested you have one." Anthea added, getting the liquid ready."Now please don't struggle."

Herupa looked around, she needed to find a exit fast. She hated needles, she hated doctors more. "HELP!" Herupa screamed, obviously terrified.

Anthea laughed, "it's a sound proof room, no one can here you now." She laughed loudly, Heupa swore she had a nightmare like this once. Anthea smirked and jabbed her arm. Herupa felt drowsy. She collapsed on the floor, in a daze, all she remembered next was her being laid on her bed and being taken out the room.

Herupa blinked twice then opened her eyes. She was in a sort of medical room. She knew she was laying down, but she didn't know where she was. Anthea appeared with two female grunts. Anthea smiled then bent down to Herupa.

"Your awake, I'm glad to hear that." Anthea added, then looked at Herupa. "We ran a few exams, of course you had to be placed asleep because you would've ran off if not. Anthea pet Herupa's head then handed her a lollipop. "This is for your obedience it's a lollipop."

Herupa smiled and took it. She placed it in her mouth then bit onto it. It tasted nice. Anthea smiled then explained to Herupa what happened.

"So we did an exam on everything, your a healthy weight for your height and it seems you don't have anything wrong with you. Also we have bandaged up the cut on your back." Athena explained, Herupa nodded. "Also by request of a Lord N, Concordia and myself will also take care of you. We must bathe you and keep you company when he isn't there. Of course he will not bathe you and me and Concordia will take turns in doing so."
