bringing unit-01 aboard the girty-lue who immediately activated the mirage colloid system, and jumped, through the dirac sea, in a rather bumpy ride

"directing unit-01 with the wunder is much easier" i muttered in concentration as i found our stop, exiting the sea, we had to wait only a few minutes before it came into view, what the force saw terrified them

"it gets worse, remember i said that this was evolution, there many, many getters in several different alternate timelines that could become this, i have two separate getters that is how not rare at all these things are" i said

"can voltron really fight that" pidge said in a moment of uncertainty

"it will have to, there is worse" i said

"what could be worse" allura asked

"how about a monster so large and so powerful, it can throw galaxies around like frisbees" i said, they blanched

"you said something about training" lance said

"i'm working on it" i said, i then gestured for quiet as we entered the dirac sea, making several random stops before returning back to arus

"i tried to keep that thing away by entering what i knew either already had getters or were already doomed regardless" i said

"how long have you had to deal with foes like that" allura asked

"the kyodai dragon, maybe a year into my journey, i came across it" i said, 'a year' the all though

"azrael, why are sure that it will come" allura asked

"because at the time i didn't know much of thing, and thought that it was ambivalent could die from it, i learned quickly that, this was not the case it is the first time that two evolved getters clashed as for some unknown reason the getter emperor came to my aid, the getter emperor is the ambivalent one, no idea why it chose to help me then, i never saw it again afterwards, but i did see the kyodai dragon in my travels, and i retreated the moment i saw it, i didn't not have the power to fight it, and i'm used defeating foes stronger me, bur that........." i trailed off

"too high above your level" lance said in understanding

"you've seen it, you've seen that colossal monster with your own eyes' i said, they paused, they did see it and they agreed they couldn't fight it as they are either

"how long do you think it'd take to get us to that level" allura asked

"i don't know, because i don't know how powerful that monster is, i just know it is stronger then us by a very large margin, i thinking about mixing getter tech, just to give us a chance" i said

"what would that do" keith asked

"it would increase voltron's capability to evolve and grow, i have a couple of ways to do this we shall see how far i take it, as it depends entirely on the lions" i said

"i would love to watch you work" pidge said

"no, my work dies with me, first i am working on upgrading voltron that knowledge alone is dangerous" i said

"because it could give others the opportunity to build their own less benevolent versions" allura said, seeing the logic to this

"good, you understand, my work remains my own" i said

"that test in three days" allura asked

"to see what works and what doesn't and to see if the lions will accept the new operating system" i said

"you redesigned the cockpit" keith said

"for what i have planned a greater connection to the lions is a requirement, fortunately i have numerous systems at my fingertips i can use, the armor for example is getting several upgrades" i said

"in the meantime we have to rely on your fleet to do what voltron did" lance said, i gave him a look

"yeah, yeah, i know they can easily do so" he said

"i need to keep some ships active during the refit for defensive purposes regardless, as for someone who rules a planet you are strangely lax on the defenses of your people, voltron cannot be everywhere at once, and i do not intend to build another one" i said
