It was quiet, besides the sound of old machinery on the space station...on Mobius it's probably been nine months since I stop Black Doom's invasion...and having my long lost memories returned to me.
A male black hedgehog, with red stripes in his quills, the same stripes on his arms starting from his elbow down to his ring and middle fingers, the same red stripes on the sides of his legs starting from his kneecap down to his pinky toe, a tan muzzle, and white patch of fur on his chest, wearing a white V-neck t-shirt underneath a dark navy blue jacket with a white fur trim around the hood, dark jeans with a silver chain that loops back to his pant, a dark belt with a gun holder attached to it at his hip, golden inhibitor rings on his wrists and ankles, a golden chain necklace with a blue rose charm hanging off of it, that looked like it was a part of something.
He was standing in front of the large glass window that looked out at the Mobius. His crimson eyes glued to the other hand print that was right next to his own.
Maurice Hedgehog, That name was already familiar to me...and I understand why it is.
As the black hedgehog closed his eyes, to just let the memory play in his mind. His ear tilted up slightly.

A male blue hedgehog, with very messy quills, and a grayish-blue pelt...with a pale peach muzzle, underbelly and arms, heavy bags under his ears and emerald eyes, wearing a beige long sleeve sweater, and very baggy jeans that were ripped at the heels, some bruising on his arms from medical treatments, he just bruised easily, and just had a weak and sickly look his appearance, the same gold chain necklace around his neck...but with a red rose charm hanging of it, when the to charms were placed together the stems of the roses created a heart.
The hedgehog had moved to the station with his caretaker who had always been like a father to him, to the Ark, to help with the research, and just to prolong his incurable disease so that he can live a little longer.
"Look Shadow! The sun is shining down on Mobius." The blue hedgehog said as he walked over to the glass window.
The black hedgehog, who had been following the shorter male...saw the scene with his own eyes, as he just walked over to join the other.
"Isn't it beautiful?"
The black hedgehog felt a smile curl on his muzzle.
"I wonder what's like to feel the breeze on your face...and the fresh air..." The blue hedgehog said as his ears tilted back.

The black hedgehog opened his eyes, and only stepped back from the window...he had a lot of pleasant memories with that blue hedgehog, but every time he thought about him...there was a strong pain in his heart...a feeling that he had understood yet.
His red, black, white, and yellow air shoes echoed throughout the Metal floor and the hallways as he walked down the corridors. Looking at the all the empty chambers of other experiments...before him.
What the Doctor called failures. As he continued down the hallways...his stopped a different metal door, that had a golden ring on door that was already fading, do to how old the space station is. Looking a that the door he felt compelled to go inside.
Upon entering the room, the inside of the room was decorated like a teenage boy used to live there, with a red race car bed, a night stand with a busted old lamp, ripped posters of comic book heroes on the walls, some soft animals, a bookshelf filled with dusty old books, and comic books. The room looked familiar to him...without thinking he picked up the blanket that was on the race car bed, pulling it up to his muzzle and sniffs it, the scent was weak, but still there...he felt his arm shaking a little bit as the scent.
Since he had regained his memories, he had always seen that blue hedgehog in his dreams. His mind, his memories...he knew who he was, but his purpose was still a mystery.

The blue hedgehog was wheezing and coughing violently in his bed...as his ears tilted back...his door suddenly slide open and an elderly old man wearing a lab coat, hurried into the room, with the inhaler in his hand.
The hedgehog let the old man help him to breath, with his inhaler...after a few moments, a sigh of relief escapes the human's lips. "Maurice...you know better than to leave you inhaler out of reach."
The hedgehog only weakly whimpers, "Sorry...I, got distracted with Shadow, that I forgot it..."
The human only soften his looked when his project was mentioned...he was grateful that the hedgehog was getting along with him, after all he felt bad having to drag his son up to space just so he didn't have to suffer dying alone on Möbius, or at least dying prematurely in agonizing pain.
"I'm sorry Doctor...I should've reminded him to grab it when he used it last." The Black hedgehog apologized.
"It's alright...Just glad that I was able to give it to him in time." The human said as he completely stood up.

The black hedgehog, only puts the blanket back onto the race car bed...he looked down at his wrist watch for the time, or any sign of messages from the Government, that he worked for. His expression only softens when he saw none. He only sat himself down at next to the bed.
Who are you? And why do I feel so sadden when I think about you...Maurice Hedgehog...that I know, but we have a connection, and I want to know what that connection is.
