The Guardian Units of Nations building stood behind us, as we had just gotten out the base from a meeting, with the Commander. The meeting wasn't that note worthy it was just Tower, being hard on his agents for doing a poor a job with keeping the citizens safe with the invasion happened, causing the President to be caught up in the mess.

I had stopped listening like halfway through his speech, before my name was called...beside the obvious long break of me, Rouge, and Omega, being on call we were allowed to the leave the base.

The black hedgehog had turned his attention to right side of the side walk and started to make his way down in that direction.

"Where you going?" The bat called out to her work partner.

"Anywhere but here."

The bat only placed her hand on her hip, as she just looked at the Life Form...as much as she wanted to follow after him, she only respected her partner's decision with wanting to be alone. After all she seen all the stuff that he had been through during the invasion. So she can understand that the hedgehog might want some space.

As the life form started to pickup momentum with his skating he suddenly boosted forward...going even faster, he glanced back the G.U.N Building, where the bat and Meg had once stood...he could see them going in a different direction, which he was kind of surprised with, since for sure he thought that the bat would follow him.

When he was a good distance away from the city he only slowed down his pace...over the years since he had been originally released from his stasis chamber, even though Robotnik gave him orders he would always slow down to see the scenery, of what Mobius had to offer. Since he spent most of his time in space orbiting the planet. With only his creator's words on what the surface was like on the planet. As a soft breath escapes his lips he only let his legs relax to a more calming walking than a jog or his way of running with his air shoes.

His twitched slightly at the sound of the birds, and other animals just hanging out in the area...they were probably more curious about him as he was of them. As he walked through the dirt path of the woods and lush grassland, he found himself stopping.

Looking up at the white fluffy clouds that was blocking out the sun as they past over head...he suddenly just felt his heat thumping against his ribcage...he never really understood why his heart would randomly do that when he wasn't actively exercising, or skating.

The black was sitting underneath a fake tree with the sickly blue hedgehog by his side...they would always come the indoor terrarium that was on the ARK, that is meant to mimic Mobius, grasslands and forests, just with allergy-free plants and filter out air for the blue hedgehog to enjoy the feeling of what's like to be out in nature without the hassle of having to have him worry about having a major allergic reaction.

"Dad always told me that the clouds were often time white and fluffy like cotton candy...but that sometimes they can make shapes, kind of like the constellation at night." The blue hedgehog said as he had his gaze up at the fake sky, as if he was just gazing at the clouds even though there weren't any.

The black hedgehog noticed the other male, he didn't really have much of a response to what his just said since it kind of peaked his curiosity. "Well would you like to cloud glaze with me...when we do go to mobius."

The blue hedgehog only took a hold of the other's hand with a slight sparkle in his emerald eyes, as that cheerful smile curled its way onto his muzzle. "Of course, I'd love to do that with that with you Shadow..."

The black hedgehog felt his heart thumping in his chest when he hand was grabbed, seeing that smile on the sickly hedgehog's face cause a smile to curl onto his own lips...there was that warm feeling again.

The two had stayed in that terrarium for what felt like hours, it was honestly such a beautiful sight to see for Gerald...after all he devoted his time and money trying to find a successful solution to his son's medical problems, to the point that he would be over working himself...or not working at all cause he wanted to give that blue hedgehog a chance to actually feel normal.

But with his creation, at least now he wasn't the only one who could give his son the feel of being a mobian instead of some sick patient. Holding his clipboard that was filled with notes about his creation's behavior only wrote down something good about him. Before continuing down the hallway to continue on his research.

The black hedgehog had sat down in the field, looking up at the clouds, he made mental notes of the different things that he saw within the clouds, that slowly pasts by him. He plucked a flower from the ground that had an orange ladybug on the petal.

If only you were here...Maurice, then maybe you could tell me why my heart keeps fluttering whenever I think of you.

He thought as he let the harmless beetle crawl into his hand, before resting onto his inhibitor ring...before just taking off into the air. His crimson eyes followed the ladybug fly off while he held onto the vibrant blue flower.
