My ear twitches slightly at the sound of a young child giggling...I hadn't really realized that I had fallen asleep looking up at the clouds, being lost in my thoughts and memories about. Him.

Upon opening my eyes, a saw that it had turned to night with the crescent moon being in sky. It always surprises me that the moon had different phases depending on the angle of the sun. It was always something that never got to see when your in space, orbiting Mobius itself.

But the young child's giggling turned my attention elsewhere, to the young mobian, and human just running around the open field...with their parents close by, it wasn't until I small bug landed onto my nose that I understood why they were out so late.

The black hedgehog's crimson eyes stared down at small black bug, had just perched itself onto the hedgehog's nose, a small glow coming from its backside followed by some other small blinking lights that turned the field into scenery of a gentle light show.

It was as if the stars had came down to Mobius, to create such a beautiful scene. The black hedgehog had yet witness such a scene, since he never really took the time to actually stay when it was dark.

"Hello Mister?"

The hedgehog saw the young mobian, they were feline, didn't look anything like her actually who were deer mobians...but he took a notice of the small bug catcher that they would holding with the same blinking bugs inside.

"Lily...what did I tell you about staying close to my eye of sight." The female deer said to her daughter. "I'm so sorry if she disturbed you. Mister"

The Life Form, only picked himself up the bug still on his nose...only carefully pulling it off, kneeling down he places the interesting creature into the bug catcher for the feline. "it's alright, she really wasn't much off a bother to me."

The young feline had a soft smile on her muzzle as she looked at her bug catcher with the new blinking bug inside it that was with the others.

"Oh that's a relief...well we should get out of your quills." The deer said as she turned on her heels.

"Thank you for the Lightning Bug, Mister." The feline giggled as she hurries after her mother.

"Lightning Bug?" The black hedgehog repeated, as he just looked at the blinking lights that were kind of just hovering around in the air. It was still hard for him to believe that he never heard of such creature, in his many years of being on mobius.

His ear only tilted up slightly when he saw the group hold up some jars, that had lots of blinking lights. To his confusion the lights flew out of the jars and the feline's bug catcher bag into nature to join the other blinking lights.

The hedgehog only sat back down onto grass, just watching the light show before his eyes...as the lightning bugs lights just match that of the stars in the sky.

There still is a lot that I don't know about Maurice...but I promise I won't leave it unexplored.

He thought as he made a mental note of the scene before him.

"What do you think Shadow? Does it need to be more color?" The blue hedgehog asked looking at his painting of some a grassy landscape during the day.

The black hedgehog only looked at the painting, with curious eyes, he had joined the hedgehog this time with the relaxing activity, he was a little less messy, than the other hedgehog who had paint on his pants, shirt, and cheek, but the smile showed that he was having fun.

"I looks good" He responded to the other hedgehog's painting.

"Thank you what about Shadow, how is you picture going." The sickly hedgehog said as he got up from his chair making his way over to the life form.

The blue hedgehog only looked at the portrait of himself, though he looked less sickly but his smile was still there...he couldn't help but feel his tail swaying slightly behind him. "Wow, Shadow I love it...you did amazing" he said.

The black hedgehog again felt his heart fluttering from the compliment, he couldn't help but to give a small smile on his own muzzle. Just seeing the other happy...kind of brought him joy, as well as made him feel so blessed with being around the blue hedgehog.
