The next day, Shawn asked me about Jackson.

I sighed and shook out my arms. "To tell you the truth? I can't stand him. He seemed so sweet at prom, then proceeded to talk about himself and how hot I am the rest of the night. I want a guy to realize there are more to girls than looks."

He smiled a silly grin at me. "I do."

"And that's why I love you."

We were at my house, watching movies. After yesterday, everything pretty much went back to normal. Except, you know, for the love part. He hadn't asked me to be his girlfriend, and I didn't really expect him to. We saw each other all the time, so it was like we were already dating.

I looked back over at the screen, watching the main characters about to kiss. We were watching "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" because Shawn knew it was my favorite movie.

I leaned over across the couch and shook his arm hard. "Wait, shh, this is the best part."

He laughed at me, but looked at the screen anyway. I finally got him to read the books last year, but he had never seen the movie.

The moment passed in the movie, and I turned back to him. "Okay. Now we can talk."

He smiled. "About what?"

"I don't know, something. Anything."

He leaned over and wrapped his arms around me. We talked for an hour straight. I don't remember what we talked about. We already know everything about each other.

When the movie ended, I put in "Divergent." He knew I loved this movie, so he always let me watch it when he was over. He gave me a look when it started, but I played innocent. "What?"

He laughed to himself. "You're just so cute."

I smiled and kissed him quickly, but he pulled me back and kissed me until I was breathless. I smiled to myself. I loved him so much.

Just then, I heard footsteps walking into the living room. I kissed Shawn one more time, then heard someone yell, "Oh my god, my eyes! I'm blind!"

I looked over at the door, and saw Danny in the doorframe, covering his eyes with his hand. He stumbled back a few steps, hitting his shoulder. "Ow! Okay, get off of each other, I'm coming in."

We rolled over to opposite ends of the couch, but kept our legs tangled in the middle. Danny walked in, picking up his laptop off the end table. "Okay, I'm leaving. Just so you know, I knew both you guys loved each other."

What? I got up and ran after him before he went to his room. "Hey, if you knew, why didn't you tell me? Or us?"

He smirked. "Because, I knew you would figure it out somehow. And see, you did. Now, go back and tell him you love him, because he deserves it. And so do you."

I smiled and hugged him with one arm, because of the laptop. "Thanks. Love you."

He pushed me gently back into the living room. "What, just because you're in love now, you've turned soft? Give me a break."

He groaned dramatically and I laughed, walking back to Shawn. I flopped down on the couch, and he pulled me to him, wrapping his arms around my shoulders. I smiled. This was so perfect. I turned my head up to look at him. "I love you."

He smiled and kissed me, twisting my hair around his fingers. "I love you too."

I remembered something when we said that. I said, "Wait, I have something for you," and walked quickly to my room to get it. When I came back down, I handed him the paper from my notebook that said "I love you." He smiled, and reached into his pocket, giving me an identical paper. We both laughed. I said, "Well, we obviously knew each other that much."

I grinned to myself and sat down, digging my head into his chest and turning back to the movie. I can't wait to see where this goes.
