They were currently making camp away from the wall where Mayor Thomas and Mayor Silas went in. It was now dusk, and everyone were doing their own thing with Jake and Becca whisper to each other about something neither of their other members understanding. Angelika taking a nap while Brian flew off somewhere. Aspen chat with Becca about something before leaving to do some 'sight-seeing' while Diego chooses to stay outside their tent to keep an eye out on things and enjoy the cool breeze.
'I feel bad for them,' Diego mused as he sat on the ground and watching one of the remain woman who manage to not get kidnap drag her feet as she clung on to her mate like she is nothing more than fearful child. 'It makes me feel thankful we manage to escape with much damage except for my scarring.'
"Your father is a nice man." Becca commented as she walked up towards him. Diego let out an embarrassed laugh at Becca's comment.
"Nice is a little too much of a stretch, how about demanding?"
"That too but expect nothing less from a leader."
Diego nods his head before acknowledging the fact Becca and Jake looked like they were waiting on something. "What are you two doing?"
"We are waiting for the bird guy to come back," Jake answered, his face lit up when he saw Brain flying circles in one area in the sky. "And that is our cue."
"I guess we should not be late, the last thing I want is for Mayor Thomas to think less of me because of it." Becca hummed before looking down at him. "It's time to meet you with your father and start the negotiation."
Diego nodded his head and stood up; he looked back at Angelika to see woman sitting Indian style on the floor. "She's not coming?"
"No, I am planning on staying guard here."
'And protect what?' Diego wondered in disbelief, Angelika caught his confusion but did nothing to try and explain herself.
"Well, I doubt I will need every person there. If she is tired than she can stay."
"If you say so." Diego shrugged his shoulder.
Angelika watched calmly as the trio walk away before she went into action. Angelika stood up and started to head towards the heart of the city where the mysterious figure that Angelika decided to call him 'Oren' informed her where her rat would be at.
'Well, he still be zere?' Angelika mentally conversate with the deity. A deep voice replied to her with the same uninterested tone he always has when talking to her.
'Not for long, the rat is currently having a meltdown unsure if he should continue to try and convince Mayor Thomas to help or to give up and turn to the girl's father.' Oren informed her. 'You should get to him before he does head to the father, unless you do not want to see him alive again.'
