"S.. Sister?" Boris stuttered as he looked up at his older sister's joyful face. Once his mind caught up on, she was not an illusion his tired mind decided to play on him, Boris swiftly shifted back into his human form and tackled his taller sister in a bear hug. "Why are you here? I thought you were going to get married to the beaver beastman back home? What was his name again?"

"He does not matter, he crumbled under the pressure like the others." Angelika commented, sucking her teeth. Before smirking at the memory of her mother scolding her on the way to Wild City before the whole invasion went down. "Mother gave up hope for little old me."

Boris furrowed his eyebrows in concern at the thought of his mother and sister actually coming here before it turned into full blown panic when he realized what that meant. "Is Mother okay? Where is she now? Oh, God. Did she get kidnapped like the others!"

Boris gripping his white hair and began to try and remember any routes in the bandit village he should have been going through instead of spying on the leader and keeping Lilian company. 'Did leave mother alone with them? Was she sold?'

"There is no need to freak out," Angelika said softly while she placed her hands over his. "Mother left me here after talking with Mayor Silas about the festival and her hopes for me and my chances."

Boris calmed down when he heard that but mentioning Mayor Silas made him remember what he needed to do. "I have to go now, maybe I can catch up with you later."

"Hold up," Angelika said when he tried to leave her. "Why do you need to head off so soon? We just met each other again after so long."

"I cannot tell," Boris replied with an apologetic smile. "Maybe one day, I can tell you but not today."

"I can help," Angelika told him, unwilling to allow him to go to his death. She pointed at Aspen, who chose to stay quiet at the entrance of the alley. "I was welcomed inside a pretty strong village; I am confident zat zey will be willing to help out."

Boris' eyes widened at the news as he looked at the handsome man with newfound hope. 'Even though he might not be a mayor, every help I can get is welcome.'

"In the curse forest, my mate, um, former mate and a few other girls are captured by a dangerous feral and his little village," Boris began. "Some of them were sold and I doubt that there are many females there anymore but for some reason the feral decided to keep Lilian as some type of trophy. I believe we can save the remaining."

Aspen grimaced when Boris looked at him like he was some kind of hero, his first thought was to stick to Becca's plan and reject Angelika's attempt to help her brother out. 'But how can I do that in good conscience now when I did even more in her situation.'

"Okay," Aspen nodded his head. "Come with us and I will show you to our captain."

Aspen took the lead, ignoring the small, satisfied smirk that Angelika had on. 'I am going to get scolded for this.'
