In the middle of the forest with a waterfall, Jade was lying unconscious with twenty large brown bags around her. The sound of the water and the fresh smell of nature that lacks the overwhelming scent of the lavender she loves cause her to wake up.
'....Huh?' Jade looked around at the beautiful scenery; she rubbed her drowsy eyes. Finding the whole thing hard to believe. 'Am I dreaming?'
It only took Jade a minute to realize that she was not dreaming; a large, joyful grin formed on her lips as she jumped to her feet and began to fly around the area. Laughing, spun around, and occasionally stopped to smell one of the flowers.
"No weeping spirits begging for help as they get dragged around by their animated body, no rotting smells," Jade shouted excitedly as she hugged herself; the peaceful silence gave her the peace she had been craving for so long. "Ah, I guess Yandere might find a way to track us to ruin things, but I will do that when the time comes."
Sadistic desires sparked inside of her as she eyed all the dark shadows that were all over the place. 'I am well within my element; I dare him to send his goons this time.'
"Hey, Sammy when did you have the time to-?" Jade stopped talking; her heart dropped to her stomach as her eyes widened in horror when she realized the people she had spent two years with were nowhere in sight.
"Ol' man? Samuel?" Jade called out as she started to panic. Her dark brown eyes frantically began to scan the area for them while she kept on calling out names. The longer she did not get an answer, the more desperate she became.
"Seriously, what the heck happened?" Jade wondered as she scratched her head in frustration. She was so deep in her frantic thoughts that she did not even notice a large bubble coming towards the surface when a loud pop sound was heard.
Alarmed, Jade quickly got into a fighting position, ready to take on whoever decided to attack, but she found herself overwhelmed with happiness when she saw five people standing on the surface of the water with bewilderment on their faces.
"You guys!!"
Aspen only had a second to turn around and catch Jade, who shot toward them as fast as a bullet. His vibrant green eyes widened in shock before they became the shape crescent moon as he hugged the woman tightly.
Aspen was the tallest in the group; he had slightly tan skin and a leaner body that was not that muscular. Pointy ears and curly, dark green hair and sharp, vibrant green eyes that were soul-sucking.
"Jade!!" Aspen spun her around before starting to check her like a frightened parent. "Are you hurt? Did somebody mess with you? Do you need me to kill them?"
"Geez, the girl is alright. There's no need to be freaking out." Maria said, rolling her eyes at how dramatic he was being. "What we need to figure out is where we are."
"Is that so?" Aspen mused as he scanned the area with disinterest. "I don't see the problem. This area is deserted; we should secure the area from outsiders."
