Pat s pov

I parked the car in her garage and I was so astonished looking at her bike collection and cars. She even had the top gun bike.

Naira: come on there s a staircase that leads to the living room. It's best we don't get wet.

But I had some other plans. As she begin to walk I grabbed her by her waist and took her outside in the rain. I spun her around . But she had been covering her face the whole. I panicked and turned her around facing towards me. I tried to take her hands off but she just held her face.

I : what happened

No response from her.

I: Naira look at me remove your hands.

She removed her hands and I just looked at her in bewilderment.

I: why did u cover ur face

Naira : don't u see it ,the scars and the wounds.

I : what abt them

Naira : They make me look ugly

I cupped her face and looked right in her eyes.

I : no they don't . They show how much hardwork u have done to get this far. They show the pain u have gone through. They show THAT ur brave.

Naira s pov

I couldn't say anything I just hugged him. I found the person I had been waiting for for so long.

Pat : come on let's get u inside or u Will catch a cold.

I: u have a match tmr aren't u worried abt that.

Pat : if ur fine then I m fine.

I start laughing

Pat : eww thAt was so cringe. I think I should be away from from Glenn

We both laugh and enter my home. I saw bhaiya(Virat) sleeping on the sofa while the tv was on. As soon as I switched off the tv, he woke up.

Bhaiya : heyy I was watching that

I : oh yeah tell me what were u watching.

Bhaiya : um um doraemon

I : bhai I think u should stay away from ro bhai ( Rohit)for some days

Bhaiya : ok stop teasing me now tell me why are u drenched

I : because of him

I pointed at pat. He had been standing there and enjoying the show.

Pat : mate calm down I just wanted to have some fun.

He said backing up a bit cuz bhaiya got up and went to him.

I : Kyu Dara rahe ho us bichare Ko

Bhaiya : it's fine come I ll get u some clothes

As bhai turned his back on us pat looked at me and sighed and then followed bhaiya. I went up to change . As I entered my room I saw maverick sleeping peacefully with the Ac on. Sometimes I wonder if he s a dog or human. Just then Bhaiya entered my room .

Bhaiya : tujhe pareshan nahi kiya Na usne

I : bhai aap bahut sochte ho woh bahut aacha aadmi hai

Bhaiya : If he does something wrong tell me or just go punch him

I : just sleep my overthinker .

Bhaiya : arre again u started with that name, Tmr I ll take revenge as I'm very sleepy now. Goodnight

I : Night

He switches off the lights and goes to his room. I settle next to maverick without disturbing him.
