After the match
Pats pov
Maxi : calm down mate u look like u ll pass out in seconds.
I : what if she loves shubman ? What if she doesn't feel the same? What if she doesn't accept?
Maxi : shut up stop overthinking she must be coming be ready and don't u dare back off.
Maxi : alright guys let's go hide
The team hid in any place they found.
I heard naira s laugh outside and some other guy s. It probably must be Virat but it sounded less deep than virat s . I went to the door and opened it a bit for enough space to peek out.
I felt tears fill up in my eyes.
I : guys come out.
Marnus : yayyyy.......what the hell? didn't u do it?
Maxi : pat what happened
I : I can't mate
I tried to take back the tears but I felt a drop fall down my cheek.
Maxi : hey hey look at me u can do it
Just then naira and shubman came inside the dressing. I quickly wiped the tear and smiled at them.

Naira s pov
I got two tickets for the match but vi Bhai had some work so he couldn't come. Sammy wanted to go the park so ro Bhai couldn't come and the others were sleeping. So I asked shubman and he agreed.
Me and shubman were going to the dressing room.
I : aren't u tired
Shubman : nah i slept a lot alr
I : btw u talked to vi Bhai this morning?
Shubman : yeah
I : did he say what work he had
Shubman : no I think rohit Bhai knows
I : ro Bhai forgets the important stuff.
Shubman : that's true.
I : what is this important work that vi Bhai didn't tell me?
Shubman : once ishan told me that he had important work so he won't be able to meet me. That important work  watching all Marvel movies in one day to set a world record. He watched two movies when his mom came and beat the shit out of him and told him to go out a bit.
I was laughing my heart out and so was he.

Pats pov

I : heyy I'm glad u could make it
Maxi : u know pat was thinking
I looked at him and shaked my head indicating no please.
Maxi : that we could go to dinner all of us together to celebrate.
I : yeah it would be fun i mean if ur free then u could come.
Naira : well actually I have plans with him and Bhai soo i guess another time
She pointed towards shubman. I was on the verge of literally punching shubman.

Naira : so mr captain how u feeling after this win.
She asked like a reporter and i laughed
I : well I feel really proud of my teammates and myself but that one person still didn't congratulate me for the win.

Maxi slapped his head.
I : well she loves her dog more than me and also is veryyyyyy beautiful.

I : starc i told u not to drink during match days

Naira took out a box.
Naira : i was just playing with u. Congratulations.
She handed me a box of brownies
I : did u make these ?
Naira : kind of , Elly helped.
As soon as the team saw the box in pat s hands they literally ran to him.
Marnus : I'm gonna eat that first
Travis : u don't look like a president to get the first preference.
Marnus : mate I'm the youngest.
Naira  : guys there s enough for everyone.
I : alright one by on-
Everyone put their hands in the box and in seconds the box was left only with two pieces.
I : wtf Travis u ve taken 2 give 1 to the coach and marnus and zampa u too.
I held the box to naira and shubman( I didnt want to)
Naira : u and glenn need to eat it's fine.
I : u can take one we'll share ,anyway that guy never lets me eat in peace he always wants to take what I eat.

I : yeah totally
Naira : I'll make more of these for u when we meet again.

Naira took 1 and gave half to shubman. Glenn came into the dressing room with starc totally drenched from head to toe.

I : they r busy eating and WHAT DID U DO TO STARC !!!!
Glenn : I kept him under the shower for abt
He looked at his watch
Glenn: 6mins
Starc : I hate u
I : shit i didn't save one for u
Starc : is that a brownie?
Marnus : yeah trust me I have never had such good brownies in my life.
Naira : u can have mine I m not hungry
Starc : r u sure

Naira : alright so next time I'll get more. I have a shift in 30 mins i gtg

She waved bye to the others and left with shubman. I still want to kill that guy.
