"At sinong may sabing hindi mahal ng tatay niya ang anak ko?" Dos' deep and dark voice echoed through the walls of the four corners of the room.
All eyes were set on him as he walk through the crowd until he reached his daughter and Haze. His eyes darkened even more when he saw her trying to hold back her tears, her eyes and nose were red, her small fist at the either side. He saw and heard what that woman said towards his daughter and Haze, and he didn't like it one bit. And to think they called her daughter "putok sa buho" it made his blood boil. No child deserved to be treated like that, to be called like that, or to be teased, mocked that she was never loved by her father.
"Mr. El Greco" it was the principal, he was surprised that they know him, however given that they are part of El Greco lineage, it speaks a lot.
"I didn't know that little Miss Castro here is your child. But we'll take proper action regarding this. You Mr. El Greco, and Miss Castro" saad ng principal sabay tingin kay Haze. "Ikaw rin Mrs. Montejo. Let's take it to the office, hindi sa harap ng mga bata" she added.
Dos just look at her darkly, but didn't said a word. He turned towards the woman who said bad things to his daughter and glared at her. He felt soft palms squeezing his, it was Haze. Her eyes were telling him to clam down, and so he did. He forgot that he had a daughter who was in the verge of crying at any moment. He kneeled so he could be at his daughter's level.
"Come here princess, nandito lang si Daddy, hindi totoong hindi ka love ni daddy eh. Mahal ka ni Daddy, sobra" he hugged her, whispering comfort words. After that, he gathered her in his arms as they walk to the principal's office.
They stride towards the office, with Hezekiah still in his arms. Haze walked beside him, worry was still visible in her eyes. She was worried for her daughter.
They reached the office and Haze opened the door for them. It revealed the pricipal, the adviser, the kid who bullied Hezekiah and his mother, and then them.
"Mr. El Greco, Ms. Castro, Mrs. Montejo let's settle this like adults. I studied the case, and I found out na parehong may mali ang mga bata. Dexter bullied the little Hezekiah, and this little girl got mad and hit Dexter." The principal started.
"What? Pinagkaisahan ang anak ko, sinabihan na hindi mahal ng daddy niya at kahit na sinong bata masasaktan sa ganoong salita" he spatted dangerously, scaring them on purpose, but the principal held her ground.
"We get your point Mr. El Greco but rules are rules. It was wrong to bully someone, but it was also wrong punch someone. I do not tolerate bullying, and so was violence. " She pointed.
"However, given that this was their first offense, this will serve as a warning, next time that it will happen again, they're both given sanction they deserve. But well see to it that this will not happen again " dagdag pa nito. Dos grimaced at that, no matter what action they do, the damage has been done.
"It will never happen again, I'm pulling my daughter out remember" he replied darkly.
"Oh, I understand. Mrs. Montejo, I hope this will serve as a lesson to you and your child. No one deserves to be bullied for not having a father, and you little Hezekiah, it's also bad to hit someone okay?" Saad nito pagkatapos ay dismissed na sila.
Dos was still mad. Anong mali kapag pinagtanggol mo ang sarili? It's bad to hit someone even when they mocked her? Well, maybe it was, but he will never recommend his daughter to stay put at the corner, letting herself get bullied.
