A few days had passed, Yuna is definitely doing a lot better. She was a bit uncomfortable around Ms Kim at first, but she's come around at her own pace and is back to her old, giddy self. She's not very good with holding grudges.

Life was good. Great, actually. She loves me. And I love her. What more could I possibly need?

"So, you guys all prepped for school?" asked Yeonjun hyung as he sits down on the couch, and wraps an arm around his girlfriend.

"Oh yeah, school's staring soon, right?" nods Soobin hyung as his arm stretched out for the remote.

"Ugh, I am so not ready," groans Yuna, dropping her head atop my shoulder.

Out of the corner of my eye, I catch the quick look passing between Taehyun and Ryujin, as the two grin.

Yuna and I didn't tell our friends we're dating. She said that they would figure it out on their own. I'm guessing they are.

I shift uncomfortably on the couch and give Huening a small forced smile as they all ramble on about how tiring senior year could be, with the occasional ughs from the pretty girl on my shoulder.

Let's be honest for a second. There is no school for me. No matter how great my life was these three months, I still have... unresolved issues. I.e, my dad.

Yes, we're making money with the band and I've definitely earned some good stuff from the cafe as well. Enough to fund my tuition for an entire year? Fuck no. Not even close.

As if being the lonely, emo, loser guitar player with daddy issues wasn't bad enough. Now I'm forced to be a high school drop out? Man, what the hell?

"Hey," her voice calls out softly, her hand gently coming to rest on my knee. "Wanna help me get some ice cream from the fridge?"

"What?" I mumble, snapping out of my thoughts. "Oh yeah. Sure."

She gives me a quick smile and takes my hand, pulling me up to my feet. She saunters over to the kitchen, dragging me by the arm behind her.

"So, vanilla or strawberry?" she asks with a cute tilt of her head, holding up the two ice cream cones up to her face.

"Uh, whatever's fine," I shrug, shoving my hands into my pockets.

Her shoulders slump down and she sighs, dropping the cones down to her sides. "Okay, what's wrong?"

"Nothing. Nothing. Come on, let's watch the movie. I'll take strawberry. You like vanilla, so-"

"No, don't do that," she cuts me off, pulling me back to her by the hood of my sweatshirt as I try to escape her little confrontation.

"Don't do what?" I ask in confusion.

"The chivalrous boyfriend act. I know something's up." She crosses her arms over her chest and glares up at me like she always does when she tries to intimate me.

My face breaks into a small grin. How could I not? She looks so adorable like that. All pouty and tiny, trying to put up an attitude.

"What the heck are you smiling at?"

I giggle at her words and the little frown, unable to contain myself. I lean down to her height and gently peck her cheek. "You."

My hand reaches down for the other cone in her hand and I hold it up to her face. "Better hurry up, or Kai gets this instead." With that, I give her a teasing grin and walk away.
