Dena texted me saying that there's an emergency at the bakery. I was supposed to be going to Tony's moms place for someone's birthday party, but as soon as I got the text from Dena I messaged his mom saying I would be late. Thankfully I'm dressed already so I head out the door in a hurry, hoping that I can make it to the bakery before anything gets worse.

Dena said there was a small fire in the kitchen, but with the way she was talking it sounded like the fire was not ...so ... small? Dena loves to downplay any issues that are going on at work to ease my mind, so I'm picturing the entire kitchen just being burnt to a crisp.

I get to the bakery in record time and walk into the bakery, flinging the door open behind me. There's no lights on so it was hard to see anything going on through the window. So I rush in, looking for the emergency that Dena texted me about, ready to make a beeline right for the kitchen, but a loud noise catches me off guard before I can get very far.

"Suprise!"

The lights flick on and I find the room filled with the people I'm closest to in this world. There's banners and balloons set up all around the bakery, both of which come in blue and pink. I notice that there's blue and pink and yellow - gotta keep it neutral - cupcakes and right behind them sits a pile of gifts. Even the drinks are blue, yellow and pink. They threw me a baby shower!

"Are you surprised!" Dena asks as she comes over to me, throwing her arms around me and pulling me into a big hug.

"I'm so surprised, I was expecting my bakery to be on fire." I exclaim. I continue looking around at everything, in shock that they did this without me knowing and that they did something so sweet in general for me. "You did all this?"

"I had some help." she says, looking back and smiling. I follow her gaze and see Tony's mom ...standing right next to my mom.

"Oh my God." I gasp.

We both move to one another, throwing our arms around each other in a tight embrace. My mom has come out here twice to see me in the entire time I've been here so its a surreal feeling to see her right here right now.

"I can't believe you're here!" I say, clinging onto her with everything in me.

"How could I miss this?" she gushes. "Your dads here too, he's just running some errands, but he's so excited to see you and he's so excited about the baby."

"I was going to call and tell you, I swear." I say into her ear as we hug.

"I can't believe you're pregnant!" she says excitedly, squeezing me tighter against her.

"Me neither." I say, truly still in shock. I would've like to tell her myself but having her here with me to celebrate this worth not being the person to tell her that I'm pregnant.

Tony and I went to the doctors to have my first check up last week. We found out that I'm just about six weeks in which makes sense considering the timeline. I thought I wasn't so far along, but when they asked me when my last period was couple with the fact that Tony and I slept together, it made sense in the end. I'm not far along enough to be able to tell the sex of the baby, but we did find something else interesting out.

"It's twins." I say to my mom just before we pull apart. We have twins in the family already, in fact my mom's two brothers are twins, so when I found out I was pregnant I had a feeling that maybe I would have twins, but I only thought that was wishful thinking.

She looks at me in shock, like she doesn't believe what I said. "No way." she gasps, her hand flying to her mouth. "Ava, I'm so happy for you."

"Well, there goes the whole 'Guess What They're Having' game." Dena says from beside me.
