The next Day Jaune and Ruby was summoned to the Headmaster's Office

Headmaster's Office:

The elevator dings and opened to Ruby and Jaune just talking as they stepped out

Jaune: maybe we'd be here earlier if you hadn't messed with the elevator buttons.

Ruby: I was just curious at what the other floors are.

Jaune: like the one in the basement? The sign said do not touch.

( This is a reference to RWBY Chibi and the locations of the Fall Maiden)

Ruby: hey I couldn't help myself.

Jaune: can't help yourself landing your butt in trouble?

Ruby: hey last time I checked you followed me to the CCT!

Jaune: because I knew you'd be in trouble again and in need of someone to bail you out.

Glynda: *ahem!*

The two stood at attention, good thing the earlier parts didn't reach the staff's ears

The two were questioned as to why they there at the CCT last night

Ruby said she saw someone shady leaving the dance and followed her to the tower

She occasionally waved at Qrow who was present in the room who nodded back

Jaune gave his account and everything was consistent

Ironwood: thank you Ms.Rose for taking Initiative. You have demonstrated the standards of a Dutiful Huntress.

You are both excused, the Headmaster and I more pressing matters to discuss in private.

The two began to leave until Ironwood called out to Jaune

Ironwood: and good work Soldier for lending a helping hand in such an occasion.

Qrow just huffed at the mention of soldier

Jaune stopped dead in his tracks

With hearing the fact he is or was a soldier it reminded her of her first days during the Solitas Campaign

The Solitas Campaign was about reclaiming territory lost to the rampant growth of the Grimm hordes

*Flashback*

Winter was just a private at that time

She was in a make shift trench as they wait for the order to advance but the Grimm were Feral and struck first

As Hordes upon hordes charges through the snow the Atlasians retaliate

But as the battle goes on the Hordes didn't stop no matter the casualties as the Atlasians was slowly backing off

The Hordes keep on coming until slowly the numbers of Atlasians dwindle as they lose both AKs and Soldiers

Winter and a few recruits and Specialist Clover were all that remained and their ammo is all but spent

Winter: Captain Clover.....what should we do?

Clover: I don't know.........I don't know.....

Then before the Grimm could advance multiple object crashed within their ranks

And as people came out of the holes the objects made

Jaune: KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL!!!!!!!

As he opened fire with his assault rifle and his fellow Helldivers followed suit
