Many thought it was just propaganda unaware that the threat has already made contact and the Morons dismissed the warnings
The Ministry of Truth knew this would happen but they must abide by the rules of Managed Democracy
They have the right to choose what they do but if they become a threat to Democracy they'll be treated with the same Fury as the Terminids and the Automatons

Once we got there it was a tough battle between the Grimm, the Bandits and the Bugs.
We had to clear every village of the bugs one by one.
Ren and Nora tensed up hearing they went to 'every' village in Mistral.
Jaune: once we reached Kuroyuri the Bugs unveiled their newest weapon against us.
The pair held their breath
Jaune: we found the remains of a Nuckelavee in the center of the town, killed by the New Bug.
He pulls up the file on his pad and shows it to them

Ren and Nora was shocked that the source of their misery is dead and killed by a bug
Jaune: the longer they remained on planet the faster they evolved. So we had to exterminate them. But that's only part of the problem, the rock they came from, it came from somewhere and we are fortifying our position before facing them again.
Oobleck: life beyond the stars.....who could have imagined it?
Blake: but what about this announcement?
Jaune: the Ministry believes most will not believe it.

Jaune: so they can be informed, when they are proven wrong. They are welcome to join Super Earth.

Jaune: we have renamed Remnant to be Super Earth when we are all united against this common threat.
Weiss: I doubt Atlas would.
Jaune: like they can do anything about the Federation.
The Announcement then replays the battle at Mt. Glenn and then Malevelon Creek

Through the valiant sacrifice of the Creek Divers they were delayed in whatever they were planning, sadly the battle is far from done as the Ministry of Truth and Offense were planning a counter attack to purge the Automatons from the Creek
Once word of Mistral being emptied of a good portion of it's citizens caused an uproar in Mistral but the Federation stated that Mistral has done nothing for these villages as they were attacked constantly without any indication of their so called government doing anything to send them aid
Leonardo's pathetic attempts on convincing the Council of Mistral was apparently ignored that even forced them to investigate Leonardo's acts of sabotage as many Huntsmen and Huntresses were reported to be killed on an alarming rate when he was in office compared to his previous benefactors
Ozpin was made aware of this due to Qrow coming back from his work on the field and this new revalation could spark civil unrest right at the time of the Festival

This prompted Ironwood to further 'secure' Vale upon the recent increase in White Fang activity as well as the announced arrest of Roman Torchwick and all of his accomplices by the Federation
The Atlasian Overlords over at the Continent of Solitas are now debating on a course of action towards this new competitor
They were unsure either to trust or fight this so called Federation but with the new information it was leaning towards allying themselves but more aggressive factions of the Council demands the Federation to surrender some of their so called citizens who were once formerly from Mantle or Atlas
Rich and Wealthy people like Jacques gave the idea why not take the Federation down so they can reap the spoils of war
The Federation tighten it's borders to see who actually is friend or foe
