A fist slammed a console
Ironwood: damn that Jacques! Does he know that this will not remedy the situation!?
Crew member: Sir! We are detecting a massive force headed towards Mantle!
Ironwood: Grimm?
Crew: no sir it's those....
Then something hits one of the Atlasian Ships in their fleet destroying it
Ironwood: what in the world!?
They looked downwards and saw a massive Automaton army fully armed and mobilized
Ironwood: Super Earth was right.....we can't face them with our current strength.
Helmsman: Sir!
He points above the clouds as they saw a massive wave of drop pods come crashing down in the Automaton Ranks
Crew member 2: they're crazy landing smack dab in the middle of them!
Ironwood: No, they are the bravest Men and Women in the world.
Then a battle erupted as they saw bullets and lasers fly through the air as the Helldivers met the Automatons head first
Ironwood: we can't just stand here and let strangers do all the work of protecting our homes! Anyone who is willing and able, follow me! We're taking the fight to them!
He rushed down to the hangar and boarded a drop ship as he and many other Atlasian soldiers joined the fray
They even deployed their own mechanized forces to even the playing field
Down in the snow trenches
Neptune: Sun! Reinforcements just came in.
Sun looks to the new Helldiver recruits
Sun: alright squads the enemy has established Anti Air and Anti Ship guns around the field.
Our mission is to disable them to re establish air superiority and Artillery support.
Are you cadets ready!?
Helldivers: Sir Yes Sir!
Sun then stood up and charged forward as many of the divers follow
They cut through hordes of patrols
Using new tech like the Localizer Jammer the amount of patrols that could detect them was drastically reduced
They were able to find the outpost easily as they saw anti air fire heading for an Atlasian fleet on their way there
Neptune: looks like the Atlasians are sending some help our way.
They also see some people coming from Mantle in an attempt to reinforce them
Sun: alright listen up, those Atlasians and Mantlians they are your brothers and sisters today! Fight together and survive Hoorah!?
Helldivers: Hoorah!
Robyn and her Happy Huntresses joined the squads
Robyn: who's in command here?
Neptune: he is.
Sun: Sgt. Wukong Ma'am what's the problem?
