"Hyung, don't be a dumbass and tell me. I know you know who the singer is! Come oooon." When Jake realized that his brother was hardly paying interest to his whining, he climbed on top of his bed and then on him to get his attention. "Hyung, you don't get how important this is. I need to know the singer so that I can find out who listens to their music from the list of people I know. It's not that hard, just give me the name." His brother groaned before pushing him out of the bed and turning to face him. "Your soulmate isn't necessarily someone from your friends but since you are so keen on knowing who it is, Lee Heeseung." Jake wasn't dumb, he of course knew his soulmate could be from anywhere in the world but he believed it was worth trying anyway.

Lee Heeseung. That was the only name that circled his mind that night as he searched more and more about the South Korean singer. He looked up his biography, listened to some of his songs, and memorized his discography along with the lyrics of every song he listened to. Jake was determined. The next day when Jake hummed to one of Heeseung's songs, Leo's eyes widened. "How come I didn't know you listen to him?" Jake shrugged and then explained to him how he had just recently started to hear what his soulmate was singing. "What if your soulmate is Heeseung?" Leo joked as he wiggled his eyebrows before nudging Jake's side, chuckling.

Jake slapped his arm and then proceeded to walk toward his class, leaving Leo behind. "You know, his songs aren't too bad though." Leo huffed as he caught up with Jake and then spoke, making Jake nod his head. His songs weren't really the ones to disappoint and they definitely caught his attention the moment he started listening to them. "I heard some of his songs after finding him out, he's pretty good." Jake softly spoke and Leo smirked, finding another chance to tease him. "Maybe your soulmate has a crush on Heeseung like you already do." Leo cackled when he earned yet another slap from Jake and then a few curses. "Who knows?" Leo beckoned, waving his arms in the air to somewhat create suspense.

Jake only shook his head and spent half of his morning ignoring Leo. Back at home, Jake was quick to complete all of his homework since he was much of a good student with high grades to maintain and also managed to squeeze in some revisions before getting back to his favourite newfound singer. Heeseung's voice was pretty much similar to the voice inside Jake's head but the voice in his head didn't necessarily have to be his soulmate's so it didn't really matter. Like every baby stan, Jake also moved on to watch some of his videos and lives that familiarized him with his personality, immediately understanding why his soulmate could be having a crush on Heeseung, if they had one that is.
