As soon as Jake reached his room, he started looking for something to wear. He rummaged through his closet before eventually giving up and throwing himself on the bed, mumbling a few things about not having enough clothes. He stayed like that for a while, thinking about telling Leo. He could trust him but part of him was still worried. After getting himself together, the boy finally cleared his head and then his closet, looking for the best thing he could wear to their possible date. "And what would you say you are dressing up for?" Jay cleared his throat as he entered Jake's room, suspiciously eyeing the younger.

"Hyung, why are you here?" Jake's eyes widened when he realized Jay caught him, knowing how nervous he could get while lying, the boy wasn't able to come up with an excuse. "I- Heeseung, he's coming to pick me up." Jay laughed, pretty much expecting that. Everyone in the car had known something had happened between the soulmates yet they decided to play along with Jake's loyalty. Jake stared at Jay confused, expecting an explanation as to why he was laughing. "We knew all along, Jakey boo. We just let you make excuses, you're too obvious." Jay snickered once again and then looked at a nervous Jake.

"Forget all that. Have you found something to wear, yet?" Jay raised an eyebrow and looked at Jake who was slowly beginning to shake his head. Jay sighed. After what felt like an eternity, they managed to find an outfit that seemed to fit wherever Heeseung would take him and Jake couldn't be more grateful. "Remind me to take you out for boba." Jake giggled when Jay lazily gave him a thumbs up and then started dressing up as soon as Jay left his place. Once the boy was dressed, he dropped a text to Heeseung and then went on with keeping himself occupied as he cleaned his room over and over, wiping the same spots and rearranging his things

As Jake sat beside Heeseung in the driver's seat, he couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of excitement bubbling up within him. The anticipation mounted as they prepared to embark on their first car drive together. With bated breath, Jake observed his soulmate confidently take hold of the steering wheel, his hands gripping it with familiarity and ease. The wind tousled their hair as they glided down the open road, a symphony of wheels spinning harmoniously beneath them. Every twist and turn was met with synchronized enthusiasm and joyous laughter that hung heavy in the air.

"Where are we going, Hyung?" Heeseung smiled as Jake's soft voice echoed throughout the car. The older turned to him and then answered, "To the company building for signing an NDA, we'll go out soon after that. I hope you don't mind. Not that I don't trust you since you already have my number but it's company protocol." Jake shrugged and then nodded, not very bothered to sign something he would have never gone against anyway. "Thank you." Heeseung shot him a grin and Jake smiled back warmly, "Of course, Hyung."
