Chapter 2

CALLUM'S POV

I walk closer to Kristian, as I do at lunch. The more time I spend and talk with him, the more content I become.

"Has he got another girlfriend? He hasn't had one in years!" I hear a girl say. Who?

"Guys! He's only had one!" Lame. "Besides, he acts quite girly at times! I don't know if he's gay or not, but, I hope he is. And no. Why would I go in and tell Callum" Me? "that I-" Kristian exclaims.

"Hey Kris! Hey girls! Tell me that you what, exactly?" I say.

"Nothing, Callum!" he answers.

"Okay then. Bye!" I say in the cheeriest voice I can muster. I'm not good with cheery. I then leave them be.

I ponder to myself, "Why does he care if I am gay or not? That's not his concern! Unless-"

"Hey Callum!" My annoyingly happy sister yells.

"Go away, Kieran." I groan at her.

"Why don't you want to speak to me? You usually always want to speak to me!" she asks.

"Not today, Kieran."

"WHY?"

"BECAUSE I DON'T, GODDAMN IT! When will you get it through your fucking skull that today I am not willing to talk!" I yell at her.

"Sheesh, big bro! Anyway, do you want to meet my new boyfriend?" Torture... She has one every month!

"Another one? Haven't you already gone out with half the school?"

She rolls her eyes at me, turning around, and with that, I get a mouthful of her strawberry blonde hair.

"Stop eating my hair! You aren't a cow, and my hair isn't grass!"

"SORR-EEY! That's your fault!"

"Is not!"

"IS TOO!"

"Is not!"

"IS TOO!"

"Is not!"

"IS TOO!"

"Is not!"

"IS TOO!"

"Is too!"

"IS NOT! Bah! Since when did I have such an annoying sister?"
"Since two weeks before your first birthday!"

"Bah. Bye, sis!"

"Bye, bro!"

She's very annoying! She started swearing a lot earlier than I did! 12! She started swearing at 12! More fucking ways for her to insult me, even though I am smarter than her in specialist subjects. Thank you Autism! (Asperger's Syndrome is classified as an Autism Spectral Disorder since 2013 - according to America)

Does Kris like me? I don't know. Should I tell him I like him? I don't know. I won't tell him, I haven't for 4 years.

I blindly walk into a tree injuring my nose, and making my glasses fall off. Jeremiah sees me, and runs towards me.

"Cal! Cal! You ok?" he says.

Another person runs towards me. "Cal? Callum! Are you ok? Here, you might need these!"

The blurry person gives me my glasses and I see that the person is...
