"Where? Where?" we all asked, our voices full of confusion as an emergency meeting was called. Josiah ran his hand through his hair, looking disheveled as though he had just woken up from a nap. I glanced down and realized that Josiah was still in his pyjamas and dressing gown, not quite ready for the chaos about to unfold.
"So..." Elijah exclaimed, scanning the room. His eyes locked onto Josiah, and suddenly, his expression changed. "Oh! Oh!" Elijah quickly covered his eyes, turning away in dramatic horror.
"Oh! Ew!" everyone else echoed in unison, their voices full of disbelief. Micah, ever the gentleman, immediately rushed over and covered my eyes.
"You gotta warn me before we do these!" Josiah shouted, his voice panicked, as he wrapped his dressing gown tightly around himself to cover up. "Where's my onesie?" he asked desperately, looking around as if it had mysteriously disappeared.
"In the washer," both Elijah and I answered, pointing to the laundry room.
"Thank you," Josiah muttered gratefully before dashing off toward the washer.

As we tried to recover from the chaotic scene, we heard a faint noise coming from the vent. Suddenly, Judah popped his head out, his eyes wide with surprise when he saw me, Elijah, Josiah, and Ruthie standing in the room.
The vent lid, now detached, fell to the floor and twisted awkwardly, the part that was supposed to stay inside now lying outside the vent.
"You guys notice that's, uh, blue now?" Elijah asked, staring at the now-blue vent in confusion.
"Hmm? Was it?" Josiah asked, trying to remember.
"It was brown a second ago. And now it's blue," Elijah pointed out, his brow furrowed in thought.
"I don't remember. I'm pretty sure it was always like that," I added, trying to play it cool.
"Was it?" Josiah asked again, looking over at me.
"No," Ruthie shook her head, her voice full of certainty.
"I'm gonna go get some fresh air," Elijah said suddenly, breaking the tension as he walked out of the room, leaving us to ponder the strange vent.

We were all chatting casually when, out of nowhere, an explosion went off, shaking the boat violently. Was there an earthquake happening right now?
"Woah, woah, woah!" we all exclaimed, trying our best to stay on our feet as the boat rocked from the blast.
Shiloh fell over, rolling and knocking Micah off balance as I struggled to maintain my footing. The shaking was intense, and soon enough, I slipped, losing my balance.
Before I could fall completely, Elijah grabbed my hand and pulled me up, holding me steady as we both leaned against a pole to keep ourselves upright as the boat tilted sideways.
"Micah, move! You're on my foot!" I heard Shiloh groan as she tried to regain her balance.
Judah was panting as he pulled himself up from the ground, but just as he managed to get to his feet, a cheese hat fell off a shelf and smacked him right in the face, sending him toppling back toward the other end of the boat.

Elijah was talking animatedly to Jocelyn while Micah was busy setting up the infamous "red is sus" board.
