DREAM FOLLOWER - Hazbin Hotel (Alastor x reader)

CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR: Eve

It's been two days since we left the hotel. I've been more and more feel frustrated thinking what was Alastor doing. I've been overthinking lately, thinking he must be with Mimzy due to his boredom or maybe he already met someone who will not leave him like I did. I must say that I'm already missing him, so much so, to the point that I asked Cleopatra to watch what was happening inside the hotel but she said someone inside the hotel notice her presence, so they put a high security around it. She no longer could watch them, I know that Alastor did that. I can't call Cerberus because he have to keep his eye on Charlie.

I haven't talked to Eve due to Adam, they must be really spending their time together to the fullest. I went there yesterday but her attendant told me that Eve excuse herself due to unfinished business. I should just let Adam fall to the void if I know this would happen. I want to go home now, I want to see Alastor again.

And now I'm here in the lobby of her office, waiting to be called.

" Ms. Y/n!" The attendant call. I stood up and enter the office. Her office has it's own balcony, Eve was sitting there drinking her tea. She looked at me and smiled, along with her sunken eyes. She looked tired if you ask me, but I just brushed it off and sit next to her. Her attendant served me with a same tea as Eve.

" Adam told me that you have something to say... May I know what it is?" She asked as she looked to the city.

" I've been in a lot of stress lately due to the problems I had." I fiddling with my fingers in frustration due to the heaviness of my responsibility.

" May I know what it is?..."

" Well, It feels kinda weird when the 'person', called me from the heaven made a request. It feels like something was wrong, but I still accepted it. Then I met someone seems nuisance, he keeps visiting me every night which made me forget what my real purpose is. But I keep saying to myself that I should focus and not let my feelings swept me away. But these past few days I felt like I'm missing that person" I sipped to my tea without looking at her. She shift her head towards me and rest her chin in her palm. I sighed as I continue.

" Then a summon letter came and asking me to go to heaven. I don't want to go but I'm obligated to, because of the person. When I was there she threatened me that if I didn't cooperate with her I wouldn't be ever to see the Pride Ring along with my brother Luci and the princess. When I got home, I didn't know what I should do. I know that even if I cooperate or not, they'll still destroy the Pride Ring or much worst the hell itself. Who am i supposed to save? My family or my brother?" My face turn sour as I remembered what my prediction show me. My heart started to pump so fast in my chest.

" That's quite a huge responsibility you've got their y/n. If I we're in your situation, I guess I should be choosing the the person in the middle....... You see there is four dimensions right. But the main dimensions are three; which the purgatory, heaven and hell. Heaven are a place for eternal paradise while the hell are known to be eternal sufferings, while there is this purgatory that divides the two. If the heaven disappear the purgatory will disappear too, along with it; same as for hell. If the purgatory disappeared both heaven and hell will disappeared." She smiled as she sipped to her tea. My gaze shifted to her with knitted eyebrows.

" That means I should choose the purgatory?..." I asked with a cold sweat.

" That's right..."

" But how?, purgatory never had any issues, with the two?"

" Without the purgatory, the sorting of souls will be hard for heaven and hell. This might make a chaos for both side. So if heaven decided to clear the hell the purgatory will be cleared too; then, where would the sinners will go?, the heaven will turn to chaos. The only thing you could to is to not make the two fought. " She reply. Everything become seems clearer to me.
