It has been half a year since our last visit to Y/n's place. Since then, everything has gradually shifted. Our mother, now addressed as Ms. Lee due to our changed relationship status, still regards us as her sons. The last time we spoke, she emphasised the importance of independence and resilience in life. We have focused on our business studies, understanding the unpredictability of life.

As for us, we have distanced ourselves from the mafia world, as we no longer have any grudges to hold against anyone except for my elusive father, whose whereabouts remain unknown. The very mention of the word 'father' leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Jade suggested that it would be best for her to handle the situation herself, rather than us taking matters into our own hands, as doing so may not lead us back to a sense of normalcy.

As for me, I persevered through my studies and exams, despite Y/n's uncertainty due to Ela's presence. Y/n was worried that Ela would try to come between us, but I reassured her that there was nothing to fear.

Y/n and I both graduated two months ago, but I didn't attend the ceremony since she was studying from home and didn't want to participate. We only saw each other a few times each month, simply talking and sharing kisses.

I still don't know what Andrey gave Y/n, as she always avoided my questions about it. I eventually stopped asking, hoping to respect her boundaries.

Hana and Ji-hoon's engagement was a small ceremony held at Lee Mansion. Hana was feeling anxious about the number of people who would be attending and worried about being judged for not coming from the same background as the Lee family. Understanding her feelings, Ji-hoon made the decision to keep the event intimate.

I was able to witness the ceremony through a live video call thanks to my partner, Y/n. It was clear to me that Hana didn't want a big celebration, which was unusual but endearing. She was different from others, and that's what made her special to me.

As I was lost in my thoughts, the familiar scent of lilies filled the air and brought me back to reality. I turned to see my love standing there, looking at me with a mixture of love and amusement in her eyes.

Lost in my thoughts, the familiar scent of sweet lilies brought me back to reality. I turned to see the love of my life, standing with her hands on her hips, looking at me with affection in her eyes or glare?

She had on a crop white striped top and black, high skin-tight jeans, along with a hair scarf. Now that I was in charge, the colours of her clothes changed. I knew I had to take her shopping, and she couldn't refuse.

I couldn't help but smile as I wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her closer and seating her on my lap, but her angry glare remained.

"What's bothering my little troublemaker?" I asked, trying to lighten the mood, but she just scoffed. "You're late!" she pointed out, clearly annoyed. She was always punctual, unlike me. Maybe it was time for me to change my ways, for her sake.

"But I'm here now, my dear," I reassured her with a small grin, nuzzling into her neck to breathe in her addictive scent. It was clear that some habits needed to change, and I was willing to make that change for her.

She gently nudged my head back onto the tip of her index finger and held my gaze for a few moments, allowing me to take in the details of her appearance. Her mocha brown hair cascaded down her back, her skin was soft and smooth, her hazel eyes sparkled with mischief, her nose had a slight hook to it, and her small lips were adorned with a touch of light red lipstick.

As she spoke, her lips parted to deliver a warning, "Save your sweet words for someone else, they won't work on me-" She paused, turning to face a specific person with a sense of defiance, before adding, "-But I can see someone else falling for them." I followed her gaze and noticed a short-haired girl watching us.
