CITY LIGHT, DISTANT CRUSH

This is a poetry is dedicated to  people who had to leave there first love behind due to some reasons, but as they say FIRST LOVE ALWAYS RESIDE IN HEART'S DEEPEST CORNER .

Across the miles, a memory sighs, A face that lingers in goodbyes. A crush, unspoken, yet so clear, A whispered dream, a silent tear.

We walked the halls, but worlds apart, Two paths that never crossed at heart. Now city lights, a different view, Yet thoughts of you still see me through.

The ache of distance, sharp and true, A love that bloomed, but never knew. Forbidden not by rule, but fate, A bittersweet twist of life's estate.

But hold the hope, though miles may stretch, New chapters turn, new lessons etch. The fondness stays, a tender flame, A flicker bright, a whispered name.

So let it fly, this unvoiced vow, A wish upon the wind, somehow. May you find joy where you may roam, And I'll find mine, no longer home.
