I drove to my parents' house to get my things. Earlier, my car was in the repair shop because I accidentally broke the windshield. That's why I took the bus before.

I hope he's not heartless.

I nervously bit my lip, pondering over his facial characteristics. Despite not appearing intimidating, as I gazed at his picture earlier, I noticed a hint of a playboy vibe in his facial features. He sported a buzz haircut, deep almond eyes that complemented his pointed nose, and a well-defined jawline that exuded masculinity and charm.

But...I'm not good at seducing. I frown.

"Aiden Veil Serraño..." I whispered his name. What a beautiful name.

I let out a sigh as I halted my car at the red light. I made a mental note not to inform my parents about my mission to Bicol. They were only aware of my job involving investigations and sessions. That's what they thought I mostly did for work.

It might take them months to find out, if they ever do. My dad is away on a business trip to Mexico, occupied with work. My brother is engrossed in his own life. And my mom, well, she's in her usual strict and demanding phase.

Gale and I are close, but our busy schedules mean we rarely have time to bond as siblings. He might not be around later when I reach home.

Anyways, at least matutupad na yung nasa bucket list ko. Makapunta  na'ng bicol.

Going Bicol has always been a dream of mine. Even though I'm not a native of the region, the captivating images of Mayon Volcano on social media have captured my heart. Since I was young, the desire to visit this incredible place has been deeply rooted in me.

And also...

Mabilis kong kinuha ang journal ko sa bag ko na araw-araw ko ng dala-dala.

His name was written on the first page of my journal.

"Kevs," basa ko.

The paper was old, showing signs of years passing by. Every detail was recorded there - how we met and how it all came to an end.

May chance bang magkita kami?

But I don't think he remember me.

I doubt we'll meet. Bicol is huge, and my visit is solely for a mission.

It's been 5 years. I question if he still remembers me.

Unaware, I had already reached home while lost in my thoughts. The large gate of our house swung open, allowing me to drive in and park my car in the garage. As I unbuckled my seatbelt, I pushed the door open and stepped outside.

The surroundings outside the house were peaceful, with all the lights, including those in the garden, illuminated.

Furrowing my brow, I spotted a few guards stationed around the area.

Kaylan pa sila nag hire ng guard?

Bakit may guard?

"Rielle,"
