CHAPTER 5

Paglabas ko sa room ko ay bumungad sakin ang nakatuxedo na may katanda'ang lalaki. Ngumiti ito sakin bago naglahad ng kamay.

"I'm Arthur. Alvarez told me to accompany you at the party. Btw, you look good and stunning in your dress." He compliments me while skimming his eyes all over me.

I smiled. Mukha naman siya'ng harmless at mabait na matanda. He looks kind and hospitable.

"I'm Rielle," Tinanggap ko ang kamay nito.

He offered his arms to me. I accepted it at kumapit ako dun bago kami nagsimula'ng maglakad papunta'ng party.

As we walked down the hallway, we entered through the massive doors and were welcomed by a bustling, expansive club inside the Misibis Hotel. Many people greeted Sir Arthur, indicating his familiarity with the crowd. He introduced me to those who greeted him so that I wouldn't feel out of place. But I was reluctantly left alone when he was called over by a tall, older man who seemed to have something important to discuss with him.

I allowed myself to blend in with the crowd, which consisted of politicians, businessmen, and individuals of high status.
The entire venue was designed to resemble a club, complete with a wide array of drinks and beverages. The party had yet to begin, so there was no music playing yet, and the surroundings were still brightly lit.

I discreetly scanned the surroundings, searching for Aiden.

Kalbo yung gupit niya sa picture. Pero sa lahat ng kalbo'ng nàkita ko ngayo'ng gabi wala'ng kamukha niya.

I was busy roaming my eyes when I accidentally bump into someone. Nanlaki Ang mata ko dahil muntik na akong mabuwal at nahulog ang cellphone nito.

"Oh Jesus! I'm sorry!" Mabilis kong sabi haba'ng napatakip ako ng kamay sa bibig at hindi alam ang gagawin.

Tahimik lang ito'ng yumuko at pinulot ang cellphone nito. Napatigil ako ng mapagmasdan ko ang batok nito.

Nanlaki ang aking mata ng ma-familiarize ko ang nunal sa batok nito at isang silver piercing sa isang tainga nito.

It's him! The guy with the black umbrella!

Pero in fairness ah, he's not wearing black today. white shirt lang na nakatuck in sa pants nito paired with white shoes. He looks simple yet refreshing.

My heart raced as he suddenly stood up and faced me. Our eyes locked, leaving me in awe as I had the opportunity to gaze at him up close. He towered over me, causing me to look up at him. He appeared big, making me feel smaller in comparison.

His features were striking—his not-so-thick eyebrows complement his dreamy chinky eyes, he has a pointed nose, and has natural plump red lips. His well-defined jawline and visible Adam's apple added to his incredibly attractive appearance. A man exuding peak masculinity. He has also a fair complexion skin. Also, the piercing on his ear adds an extra touch of charm to his overall appeal.

He is the most handsome man I have ever seen.

Nagpalipat-lipat ito ng tingin sa aming dalawa na hindi makapaniwala. "Girlfriend mo?!" He exclaimed na ikinalaki ng mata ko.

"No!" I exclaimed.
