arriving at arus we were informed that our fleet would be allowed to remain for however long they needed in gratitude for coming to their aid, i gave my thanks and started to even out the civilian populace throughout the fleet so ships wouldn't be so crowded
"we are being hailed by princess allura my lord" the comms officer said
"patch it through" i said
"princess what can i do for you" i asked
"keith and our cadet daniel is on a rather dangerous mission, and we ask for your aid in rescuing them" allura said, i paused
"what's the mission" i asked, and she told me of the prison ship 'the void' which keith had allowed himself be thrown into to rescue other members of their resistance group, and how daniel was caught as well as a result, i sighed
"we are on our way" i said, cutting the channel
"our we taking the getmachines" acxa asked
"it would be fastest let's go" i said
arriving we didn't even bother being sneaky once we were onboard i pulled my gun and just started shooting rescuing daniel from the invisible warrior
"i've dealt with invisible foes before, you are not very special" i said turning my attention to daniel
"let's go kid, our ticket out isn't far from here" i said, he nodded
"acxa to arcadeus" acxa said
"go ahead" i said
"i have commander keith and have rescued all of the prisoners keith came to rescue we are on our way to the kirik" acxa said
"very good, i have the boy and am heading back to the arc" i said
"mission complete then" she said
"it will be when we get off this ship" i said, as i led the way back to the arc and we boarded the red jet a few minutes later the kirik forced it's way out of the hole it had created, and the khan entered formation with the other two
"allura is on board my castle with the rest of the team, which is not far from here let's get you back to it" i said, as i piloted arc back home, upon landing and disembarking daniel ran back to the others, as keith also swiftly joined his teammates
"you aren't very subtle are you" keith asked
"i can be subtle when i choose to be, i just didn't see any point to do so, i understand why you did, but i have an army, if the sky marshal wishes to pick a fight with us, well a teacher of mine once said, that those who kill, better be prepared to be killed in turn" i said
"wise" keith said
"yes he was, the man single handedly changed his world, for the better, not that anyone knows it was his doing of course, he was a genius like that, making himself the ultimate villain while the symbol he created became the symbol of the masses, i admired the man, still do in fact" i said
"what was his name" allura asked
"lelouch, lelouch vi britannia" a voice said i turned to see kallen
"kallen, good to see your well" i said
"i'm still not happy you dumped the civilian populace on me while you went off with acxa" she said, i patted her shoulder
"i'll make it up to you" i said
"you'd better, at least next time give the job to rias, she seems a bit more fit for the role" kallen said
"i will, i promise" i said, before turning my attention to the grip
"this is kallen kozuki, a trusted pilot of my force" she nodded in greeting which they returned
"i need to get to the bridge, acxa if you would care for our guests" i said
"of course" she said as i left the room to the bridge to start giving my orders
returning the lion pilots to arus as well as the resistance fighters, as my fleet was not a taxi service, my fleet began to make preparations to depart in search of a new world
