i was supposed to be on the castle's bridge searching for a new home for my people instead i was in the arc's cockpit battling against a robeast that had quite handedly given voltron it's ass, acxa snorted at how much weaker this voltron was compared to the one from her universe, i agreed, that voltron was significantly more powerful, well either that or it's 'veteran' pilots were incompetent one of the two
arc was having no trouble against the predator robeast easily destroying it, as me and acxa continuously traded forms between kirik's speed and arc's versatility i wish we had a pilot for khan, but we didn't, destroying the robeast, i sighed as i sat back in my seat
"well that was fun" i said
"you don't sound too pleased my lord" acxa said
"i'd prefer to be looking for a new world for my people to inhabit as opposed to constantly helping the princess, the first time was my decision and also wasn't entirely necessary as they solved the issue on their own, the second time was repayment for allowing us into their space, but this is time number three, and now we just wasting time" i said, the pilots voltron hearing this felt their pride be stung
"if your so powerful why don't you fight us" lance demanded
"as you wish" i said
the ensuing fight didn't last long, and was a slaughter in the getter's favor, which further stung the voltron pilot's pride
"we have fought things so much stronger then you are, it's sad too, as i am positive the defender of the universe, that has managed to continue to exist for ten millennia must be stronger then this" i said, as the getter arc turned away, and i was about to call for the getter's separation
"stay with us" allura said, arc stopped it's head turning towards voltron as it's pupils landed upon them, that sent shivers down their spine
"excuse me" i said
"stay here on arus, i will welcome your people here, help us" allura said
"and what if my people don't accept your rule, lord arcadeus is their chosen archon and protector" acxa said
"they will be welcome regardless, i can share arus my people aren't many, there is plenty of room here" allura said, i paused
"i will speak with my advisors on it, and get back to you on your offer, open get" i said as the the machine separated and flew off in it's three components
"was that wise princess, i'm not sure if he is worthy to be considered a defender of the universe" keith said
"do you believe him evil" allura asked
"i can't say i do, he has helped us too much expecting nothing in return, that tell me he is a good man" keith said
"what does that tell you about his fighting style" allura asked
"that something happened, something made him fight the way he does" keith said his eyes widened at that revelation
"it is possible, that he has met adversity greater then we have and he has had to adapt to overcome such adversity" allura said
returning to the castle naruto gathered his most trusted advisors, and began to discuss the pros and cons of allura's proposal
"in the end the choice is yours our people will follow whatever decision you make, but as i am sure you are aware, the princess likely expects you to aid them in their battles against evil" salamandinay said, i nodded, agreeing with her in that the princess was likely to do that
"with that said, we have chosen our ruler, and it is not this princess, if she expects us to bend the knee she will have a revolt on her hands" sienna khan spoke up resolutely
"i am aware of this, what do our resident goddesses think" i asked looking towards the two gods, bishamonten and hephaestus
"i would like to start forging again, at some point, i nearly had my shop set up when the fool destroyed our last world" hephaestus said, bishamonten took a moment before answering
"i stand by my previous oath, my power is yours, you gave me a chance at freedom, when you brought the shinigami to my world, and they helped my shinki to finally be able to rest in piece" bishamonten said, i nodded to her as well
"very well, i shall speak further with princess allura, and think on this i will call this council again to announce my decision" i said, they nodded their agreement
"if there is nothing else, this council is dismissed" i said
