returning to the castle of lions, allura after much pestering explained what she had learned

"he has two separate goddess, TWO" lance yelled out

"i met one of them" she said

"have you asked if he would give us his power" keith asked

"he said that if he did, there would be conditions, he doesn't just have gods he has magic, i watched a girl transform into a small sword and then change back again, and he has more, i am sure he has many more secrets" allura said

"what do we do about this" pidge asked for the first time in a very long time unsure what to do

"don't make them angry" daniel said, as the three cadets were there for this meeting, and the voltron force agreed with daniel's answer, making these people angry was a very bad idea

"did he say why he was against helping us" keith asked

"he said we were too reactive, and needed to actually fight back, i think something happened to force him to have that outlook, something he said tells me he has been tested, likely more times then we have" allura said

"what did he say" lance asked

"he said that his journey had started with a dream to be a hero" allura said, that caused them all to look at each other, if that was the case then something seriously bad happened

"we will make one more attempt to get his aid, then we will leave him and his people alone" keith finally decided, after a moment everyone agreed, they couldn't just give up on such an advantage like this after all, one more attempt seemed reasonable

naruto was busy overseeing the colonization of arus, their nation would be known as auvoria, with their capital city being the city of sanctum

"our mages have already begun work on speeding up the building process, lady tōsaka is overseeing the process" acxa said

"good" i said

"our fleet has also destroyed two robeasts and a weapon sent by the sky marshal" acxa reported

"figures, i really wish i could just deal with them both, but i don't particularly want to step on my liege lords toes, nor do i want to be seen as some conqueror" i said

"king lotor has been resurrected a number of times at this point, we would have to kill the one who is resurrecting him" acxa said, i nodded

"add the individual to the list, of they are resurrecting lotor, they are not a good person" i said

"yes my lord" she said

"my lord" an officer said

"what is it" i asked

"the black lion pilot keith and princess allura wish to come aboard and speak with you" an officer said

"then send them to me" i said, it didn't take long for the two to join us on the observation deck of the castle overlooking shuttles coming and going from the various ships

"you people work fast, the first building have already been constructed" keith said

"magic can do wondrous things if you know how to use it, what can i do for you" i asked

"i've noticed you prefer when things are brought right to the point, so i will be blunt we are here to make one more attempt at getting your aid in our fight for the universe" allura said

"one more" i said

"we are aware of your vast power, so if you say no, we will no longer be asking, we do not wish to make you an enemy" keith said

"at least you aren't stupid like the last set of morons" i muttered, but gestured them to go on

"many of us, are actually looking to retire, the princess here for example is trying to decide weather she should be on the team or ruling her nation" keith said, i paused, then i walked to the princess

"do you enjoy what you do" i asked

"what" she asked

"i have ruled over sanctum for a number of years as it's archon, chosen by the people to lead, do you know who is at the front of the army in every battle who leads every charge" i asked, she shook her head

"he does" acxa said

"i do, because it is both my duty and because i have learned to enjoy fighting as much as my partner did, so i ask again, do you enjoy your life the way it is now" i asked

"yes" she said

"then do not let go of it, i will teach you how i handle it, but i'm going to tell the secret is finding a group of individuals you can trust, say your teammates maybe, and delegating your tasks to them, i know damn well you people aren't doing much, since my primary problem is that you react to everything and aren't actually out solving the problem, a ruler who's only thought is to the people is a bad ruler, artoria pendragon was one such ruler, i received my name from her, she was one of the most honorable people you'd ever know, but she was a terrible king, and that's not entirely her fault but i digress, my point is this, you find enjoyment from piloting your lion, correct" i asked

"i do" she said

"then do not let go of that, because i promise, you will be miserable if you do, and a miserable ruler is a bad ruler, and a bad ruler ends up a dead ruler and a collapsing nation" i said
