with newfound vigor, allura roped her teammates including the cadets into helping her rule arus, or rather the part of arus not ruled by naruto and his nation, and she found that his advise held merit, delegating her role made things significantly smoother and she could continue her duties on the team, it meant she wouldn't be relinquishing her lion to larmina any time soon, but hopefully with an alliance with archon naruto, larmina could have a unit of her own, that isn't a pile of junk quite literally scrapped together

in fact allura brough that to naruto's attention, and after studying the machine in question a large smile formed on his face, and he gave her a mobile fighter, with the mobile trace system, specifically a copy of the rising gundam he had built, larmina loved it she felt truly alive piloting her new machine, of course this required him to give machines to the other two, vince was easy, stick in a modified XG-70 susanoo unit and he was happy, daniel on the hand was a lot more difficult, then it clicked, he bonded the kid to a zoid, more specifically a blade liger that naruto had on hand

making three very happy cadets that no longer really cared about voltron they had their new toys that could go toe to toe with the lions themselves, when not combined of course especially the blade liger, it was the closest to a lion possible, so daniel didn't mind anymore about weather or not he became the pilot of one of the lions of voltron especially when he knew that the archon would be vastly more nitpicky about who is chosen if he chooses to help in upgrading voltron

"that unit you gave to daniel seems as sentient as the lions" keith said thinking they were related, naruto laughed

"do you know how many blade ligers i have, there over two hundred different types of zoids, and i should mention the zoids aren't as sentient their more sentient they can be considered literal living animals, the planet they come from is called zi, it was by far the most fun experience i ever had in my travels, and i'm probably gonna take the cadets there, may even leave them there if they decide to stay"  i said

"you'd leave them behind" keith said alarmed

"if they decide to stay" i repeated, before continuing "they have skills that will make them rich, there is a sport on zi, where you battle zoids against other zoids in teams, and people like them would be perfectly fine, a friend named naomi is only sixteen and is doing incredibly well for herself do to her gunsniper" i said

"so your saying they can succeed there" allura asked

"easily, i can find them a hover cargo which is a transport that can be a base for them, which will be vince's domain as i'm sure you could guess, and the other two, will be just as easy, i will have to find a zoid for larmina but that won't be too difficult when there are over two hundred different types and that's before customization comes into play, and a zoid does come to mind a unique one actually, but i will leave that up to them to decide, well and allura, the other two can decide on their own, but allura is larmina's aunt" i said

"is it safe" keith asked

"safer then being a lion pilot, there are rules to zoids battles and judges in place, have there been incidents in the past of course, but again the same thing can be said for the course they are on now, he nodded" i said

and so the three cadets were gathered

"i notice how you three seem to enjoy your new units, what if i could promise you a bit more" i said, this got their immediate attention

"larmina have you tried riding in daniel's blade liger" i asked, she nodded

"what did you think" i asked

"it was cool, almost like piloting a lion, but much more personal" larmina said, i nodded

"if you could traded the rising for a zoid of your own, different from daniel's would you do it" i asked

"depends, why" she asked, and i smiled

"the homeworld of the zoids holds annual competitions, which you can participate in, literally right now if you wanted, you need no training or experience you simply need to register which is ludicrously simple, and your good to go, oh and i guess the icing on top the cake, this offer is only for you three the current pilots have a job to do after all" i said

"wait no authority, i'm in" larmina said instantly

"what am i doing" vince asked

"tell me vince, and answer honestly, would you rather A be in the green lion, or B be in the castle coordinating from there" i asked

"the latter" he said, and i smiled widely

"then let me introduce to you, your domain, and the base for you team a hover cargo" i said showing the giant vehicle

"it is one of the very rare few transport zoids to exist, i'd give you a whale king, but they require an active crew to keep it in working order, this thing had a crew of like eight and five of those people existed as solely pilots, with doing minor chores that anyone can do, in other words this thing is a carrier that can be controlled exclusively by you, and you can rope the other two into taking care of the thing" i said

"i'm in" vince said

"daniel" i asked

"i'm so in" he said pumped

"splendid oh by the way, i should mention competition can be extremely fierce so prepare to lose, a lot" i said
