Chihiro Hanagaki

Chapter 14

Kakucho was surprised when Chihiro ran off suddenly, 'She mustn't want to get wet.' He lifted the tiny bunny doll, a small smile spreading across Kakucho's face. Meanwhile, Chihiro was running through the crowds trying to find Draken. From her memories, she knew that when the rain started, Emma and Draken looked like they were leaving the festival when Peh stopped them. She could only guess what direction they took. Her yukata was practically soaked by the rain when she found them. Peh was already there talking to Draken. Draken had handed Emma his umbrella and started walking towards Peh.

Chihiro's main concern was the Moebius member coming at Draken from behind with a bat. "Draken, look out!" Emma called. Chihiro was one step ahead of the Moebius member. She sprinted over and jumped high in the air, kicking out. Her foot smashed the bat in two and smashed into the Moebius member's face. "Chi!?" Emma gasped. Chihiro slid across the wet ground two feet behind Draken.

"You again!" Peh hissed. Draken glanced back at her, "Thanks." Chihiro nodded, taking a fighting stance, "More are coming." Draken and Chihiro ended up in the parking lot, fighting a big group of Moebius members. Chihiro kneed a guy in his face, taking another one down. Her yukata was ripped in many places, but that didn't slow her down. "There's no end to these guys." Draken huffed, back to back with Chihiro. "We got this," Chihiro assured him.

It's only a matter of time before Takemichi and the others show up. They had already taken down a handful of members. "What the hell is this girl?!" one Moebius member screamed. "She's fighting like a demon!" another gasped. Peh was even more shocked seeing Chihiro's fighting prowess. It didn't matter how hard she got hit, she wasn't going down. "Draken! Chihiro!" Takemichi called.

Mitsuya and Takemichi finally arrived. "Hey, Mitsuya. Takemichy," Draken greeted. Emma had remained close by, too worried about Draken to leave. "Draken, are you alright?" she called out to him. Takemichi warned Emma to stay back while Mitsuya confronted Peh. "So Peh, you traitor! What the hell are you doing teaming up with Moebius?!" Mitsuya snapped. Peh bristled, "Shut your mouth Mitsuya! Or I'll have them kill you too!" Mitsuya narrowed his eyes, "Oh?!"

"Peh, you backstabbing coward! You set up this whole sneak attack on Draken! But you needed all these guys to fight one person. And you call yourself a man!" Emma yelled. Despite not getting hit by the bat Darken was still worn out. "Man, I'm so tired," Draken complained. "Yeah, you don't look too good." Takemichi agreed. Draken could barely keep his eyes focused, "I'll be alright, but I'm at my limit." Chihiro could feel the fatigue hitting her body too.

She could tell one of her ribs were broken and the rest felt bruised. Her right wrist began to ache with how hard she had been swinging. The dojo taught her a lot about going up against numerous opponents. The dojo wanted its students to be prepared, no matter the situation. "Chi, how you holding up?" Draken asked. Chihiro huffed, "I'm running on fumes, but I can go a little longer."

"Can you finish this for me, Mitsuya?" Before Draken even finished his sentence, Mitsuya was already walking forward. "My pleasure," he said. Draken took a seat on the wet ground to rest for a while. "You little shits really think you got a chance against all of us?!" a Moebius member shouts. Mitsuya grins, "You're all about to find out." Chihiro gets back into a fighting stance as Peh orders the Moebius members, "Kill all four of them."

The Moebius members began to jeer at them when they heard the sound of a motorcycle reeving. "I think company is coming." Draken comments. "I know that exhaust sound," Mitsuya says, his grin wider. "That's Mikey alright," Draken confirmed. Mikey then appears skidding to a stop in front of everyone on his motorcycle. "Shit Mikey. Just in time." Takemichi mumbles. Mikey gets off his bike walking towards them, "I get it now. You had me called away for one reason. So you could ambush Kenny. And then you were planning to pin the blame on me in order to try and split Toman in half."
