Old footage of Camp Wawanakwa and Total Drama Island played over narration from Chris McLean. "Last season, on Total Drama Island: after Owen won the one-hundred thousand dollar prize, I gave him a mega-sized deal! He could get one million dollars instead by finding a briefcase we hid on Wawanakwa and bringing it back to the Dock of Shame before any of his fellow campers. Needless to say, he took it, and thus the race for the case began! During which, Heather and Harold formed a new bond, Courtney left Duncan with a twisted ankle for a better chance at the money, and the sixteen campers who were closest to the prize found themselves in the swampy waters of Muskoka after a shark ate the case! Yowch!"

The feed cut to Chris, sitting in a private room with monitors and a table with chairs, with Chef filling out a crossword puzzle and sipping from a cup of coffee in the background. "Those campers have been selected to join season two, which is what you are watching right now! They're being driven to an old, abandoned film lot as we speak, where they'll battle it out for another shot at the million. Personally? I'm rooting for Lindsay. She's quite the looker. Eh? Eh?" He swivelled his chair to catch Chef's reaction. The cook shook his head at him. "Fine, be that way, Mr. Engagement Ring-Pop." He turned back to face the camera.

"Who will win? Who will lose? And how will you, the viewing world, fare without knowing what happened over the weekend between seasons? Lies, love, friendship, and betrayal are all in store for these teens, and you won't wanna miss a second of it, right here, right now, on Total! Drama! Action!"

(Fade to opening theme)

[Lights swing up in front of various fake buildings and turn on; a camera pops out of an open manhole with a rat on top of it; another camera bursts out of a tree hollow, sending various pieces of garbage and a startled raccoon flying. A film slate is clapped in front of the camera, and the camera does a fly-over of the film lot; Chris drives a tram cab into its path, grinning and waving his hand to his other side as the camera passes through the cab and the lyrics start.]

Dear Mom and Dad I'm doin' fine,

[The camera passes through the browning leaves of a birch tree and along the road between the numbered studios, dodging a pair of backdrops that are rolled into its path - a farm and an ocean sunset - before heading through a clothing rack, disturbing the costumes hanging on it.]

You guys are on my mind.

[The camera flies up an artificial pine-covered hill, the sun flaring as it reaches its peak and looks over to see a pool of water far below, then jumps in.]

You asked me what I wanted to be

And now I think the answer is plain to see,

[A cloud of bubbles disperse from around the camera, it moving upwards and out of the water. Harold is shown on top of a red-and-orange surfboard hooked up to a rigging on the side of the pool; behind him is a backdrop of a cloudy sky. Seagulls are shooting past him like bullets, causing him to frantically dodge. It isn't enough, however, as one of the seagulls finally knocks him back into the pool.]

I wanna be famous.

[The camera quick-pans to the left, showing Duncan manning some sort of seagull gatling gun while laughing hysterically. To his right, Tyler jumps in to try and gain control of the gun, only for Duncan to use it on him, causing him to run out of the door as the delinquent continued to laugh. The camera flies off past him. It pauses just before a large door as Sasquatchanakwa runs across the path in a pink dress, a feather boa, and a boater. The door opens and the camera passes into the light.]
