"Last time on Total Drama Action!" Chris opened as scenes from the previous episode were shown. "Sixteen teenagers, one cruddy film studio, and an alien invasion. If that doesn't sound like a good sci-fi flick, I don't know what does. In an alien movie genre challenge, the teens were sent into a UFO to retrieve alien eggs so that the military, I.E me, could safely dispose of them. Oh, we did alright, ahahaha! Boom!" The footage showed the nuke of goo Chris dropped near the end of the challenge.

"Now that was fun. What was even more fun was how rabid Bridgette got after finding out that Gwen tried to steal her man at a party not five days ago. Unfortunately for her and her boyfriend, the situation was too awkward for their castmates, who voted them off in Total Drama's first ever double elimination, while Gwen, or New Heather, and Trent, or Loser, won the reward and invincibility." The camera cut to Chris driving a golf cart in front of the craft services tent. It was night time. "Today the teams will form and this couple's tenuous relationship will be put to the test as they're pitted against each other. What will the teams be? Will Heather's hair ever grow back? How long until Cody makes a move on Gwen? Will Gwen survive the wrath of her cold teammates? Find out all of this and more on the most exciting joint yet, because this is Total! Drama! Action!"

Crickets chirped and the stars failed to glimmer down from the dark night sky due to the severe light pollution. The view inside of the boys' cabin showed Owen sleeping with a piece of celery dipped in peanut butter in his mouth, his snoring alleviated by it, while DJ cuddled a stuffed rabbit. Cody looked knocked out, headphones on over his head connected to a music player, and Duncan had the same sort of set-up, minus the music player. Harold snored obnoxiously loud, but peacefully, and Tyler slept with his rear end sticking out under the covers, his chin resting on his pillow. And then there was Justin; he slept like a Greek god, his eyes and face covered in a green mask and cucumber slices. The camera lingered on him.

"Hey, move it along." Chris whispered to the cameraman outside of the trailer.

The shot was frantically moved to Trent, whose eyes were wide open, bloodshot red, and staring directly up at the ceiling. Clearly, it had been a long night.

Cutting to the girls' cabin, E-Scope growled and fidgeted in her sleep but looked absolutely at peace, LeShawna faced away from the camera with earplugs in her ears, Lindsay and Beth held each other's hands from their bunks as they both slept soundly, Heather slept underneath all of her blankets, her face barely visible, and Gwen stared at the ceiling with deep, dark rings under her eyes and a blank expression.
