The camera faded in on a projector screen, illuminated by a flashing light as a film grained young attractive woman screamed at the top of her lungs. A machete came down and decapitated her off-screen, a burst of blood coating the colours of the night atmosphere. Chris threw a handful of popcorn in his mouth, chewing with a satisfied moan as he laid back in his seat at the Gilded Chris amphitheatre.

"Mmm...last time on Total Drama Action!" Chris opened with his mouth full as scenes from the previous episode were shown. "Our newly appointed doctors on site were put to the test when a contagious, mostly made up disease raptured them all. Yours truly placed them in quarantine and watched them scramble for their lives. Hey, it was hilarious. Justin lost control of his face, catching a zit AND itchy, inflamed lips, while Lindsay lost control of her love life when Tyler, who she had no idea had broken up with her just a few days prior, was sent home due to a sudden affliction caused by our challenge."

"In the end, it was Gwen, Duncan, and LeShawna who solved the case of the made-up disease, winning a reward for their team. LeShawna, harbouring resentment for basically her entire team, fake cried to earn the reward for herself, a spa day with her best cousin, LeShaniqua. Yikes, hope that doesn't come back to chip her in the head."

Another ear piercing stock screen sound effect got a good chuckle out of Chris as it cut back to him before he finished the recap. "We've dealt with dead bodies and diseases. Now? It's time for the prequel! Will Izzy continue putting the hurt on Justin's face? How will Beth cope without a steady boyfriend? And will LeShawna ever be exposed? Find out all of this and more, on the goriest episode yet of Total! Drama! Action!"

The sun now shone in the sky, beating down on autumn leaves and dead trees alike. Outside of the main trailers designed for the contestants, Heather, Harold, and Cody were sitting together, chowing down on egg salad sandwiches.

Cody munched down with an exasperated moan. "Mmm! Oh my goth, this tastes incredible!"

"The flavour profile is immaculate. I can't imagine what it took to realise this balance in the gooey mayo and the saltiness of the bread. Who thinks to salt their bread anyways? DJ is a genius." Harold agreed.
