I woke up early in the noon. The rays of sunshine shone right into my face, and I groaned. I hid my face with a pillow and tried to fall asleep when two knocks at the door alarmed me. In a flash, I threw the pillow across my room and got up, throwing a robe around me.

I opened the door to find my mother standing in the doorway with a smile on her face. She handed me a delicious-looking breakfast and said, "I have to leave, sweetie, so please don't forget about your tutor. Your father is gone as well. If you needed something—"

"I will call your assistant; I know Mom." I faked a smile, as I was still annoyed that I woke up too early. It was Saturday, and no normal person would wake up sooner than two in the afternoon. Well, at least that's how my sleep schedule is. If I don't get my beauty sleep, I will truly look like a zombie.

"Sorry, I didn't ask before, but how was Ms. Moore? Do you like her?" She asked, still standing in the doorway.

Of course, when was the last time you thought about me in other ways that weren't connected to my studies or my social life? That is, in fact, nonexistent.

"She teaches wonderfully," I replied to her.

She only nodded and took a step back. "I'm glad to hear that, Dove. I'm sure she will help you improve your grades."

"Yes, mom." My smile slowly faded.

"See you in the evening." She waved goodbye to me, and I reciprocated it.

I watched her as she walked down the stairs, and when I heard the door shut, I closed my door. I placed the tray of food on top of the table and sat down on the couch. I took a deep breath and began to enjoy my breakfast, savoring the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the taste of the buttery croissant. It was the perfect start to my day.

But as I recalled what happened three days ago, I had to calm my racing heart. I couldn't help but think about her and the way she kissed and licked me. I wanted more of her. I knew that if I held back, I would regret it.

The last time, her phone interrupted us, but today, there will be no one and nothing to take away my pleasure. I want to cross the line. I crave her to the point of madness. And I don't care how insane I sound. I always had to obey the rules that my parents set. When I had the chance to talk to some guy, I had to think about how my father would reject him. No one will ever be good for him until he's a doctor or a businessman. When I wanted to go on a date with a girl I met in high school, I realized I couldn't because my parents still didn't know I was open to dating both genders.

My mother knows about it, and she's fine with it, but I was still too scared to tell my father. He always wanted me to marry a rich man.

As I ate breakfast, my phone began to buzz. I picked it up from the table and saw Alice calling me.

"Hey, girl! How are we doing today?" Alice asked.

"Hey, Alice. I missed your voice. I'm doing fine; I just woke up too early." I mumbled as I yawned.

"Yeah, you never wake up this early on Saturday. Is it because of Ember? Did you have nice dreams about her?" She laughed, and I rolled my eyes.

That day, she only focused on tutoring me, and we acted like nothing happened between us. Then she left home while I was losing my mind. That night, I called Alice and told her everything that had happened. Of course, I spared some details just for myself. She didn't have to know everything.

"Your silence is an answer, Dove!" She shouted.

I sighed loudly. "She will come today, and we will be completely alone for the time she stays here, which is like three hours," I told her and got up from the couch, nervously walking back and forth.
